ALTHEA The bear’s growl rumbles through my chest, deep and angry. My body locks up in fear, but my mind screams at me to not stop running. “Asher,” I whisper, though my voice barely comes out. He doesn’t need my warning. He’s already raising his gun, his arm steady as he aims it at the bear. The bear snarls, ears pinned back, eyes locked on us. It’s bigger than I expected. Much bigger. Its fur is a deep, thick brown, and its black claws look sharp enough to tear through flesh like paper.

Or all 3 of them would be dead by now. “Holy fuck…” Lance covered his nose and walked close to the dead bear’s body and examined it, “What on earth was that! Is this a natural inhabitant of this forest?” “There are rumors about them.” Said Damien darkly. Then he looked back at Baron, snapping: “These bears never leave their cave! Darryl was taken aback. He squinted to take a closer look. It was an enormous black bear approximately three meters tall with dark fur and shiny black claws. Thea saw the big black bear and was shocked. She said, "Well, we kept running just now and did not realize that we had ended up in the Giant Bear Mountain."

He said but I shook my head. The air was thick with tension and just then I saw a wild bear emerging from the shadows, its eyes gleaming with primal fury. My scream pierced the night, and my heart leaped into my throat, my breath catching in a moment of sheer terror. Beside me, he stood tall and resolute, as if he was a trained soldier. With a fierce roar, the bear lunged forward, its massive form hurtling towards us with unstoppable force. In that split second, Shaurya sprang into action, his movements fluid and precise. A massive polar bear emerged from the underbrush, its great white form contrasting against the snow, eyes locking onto me with a predatory glare. I shrieked as my heart jumped into my throat—luckily, surprise and fear seemed to work in my favor. The bear, startled, turned and bolted away, disappearing into the depths of the forest.
