the man assured him. "A life for a life," Ethan growled through clenched teeth. The men around him nodded in silent agreement. "You got everything we needed from him? I want every piece of information that bastard has," Lucas asked, his gaze never leaving the unconscious criminal. "Yes, sir. We have everything. He was stubborn at first, but we got what we wanted in the end," the man replied with a satisfied smirk. "So, no one would come looking for him if he suddenly disappeared? No relatives, no friends... basically a parasite living off society," Darvid remarked casually, studying the battered man with dark amusement.

I’ll even help you deal with any of them. “And how would I know you won’t back stab me?” “The same way I know you won’t. It’s not your reputation. Look up Black Dogs. You know of them?” “Order of mercenaries.” “Bingo,” the man said. “Asked them about Vanargand.” “I see.” “You heard of the name?” “It’s another name for Fenrir, monster-wolf of Norse mythology.” “I thought using Fenrir could be copyright infringement, or just piss the guy off.” “That would be unwise.”

This was the match they'd tried to bury finally catching up. We got to the battlement just as another strike lit up the sky. Below the wall Jakob stood at the front of a new line. It was bigger than before. Elders in black robes rode behind him on gray horses, hands raised, green light pouring from their palms. Twelve of them. They were the Black Council. I recognized two from old pack stories: they had withered faces, their eyes like dead moons and they had come for me. Jakob spotted me and pointed with his sword. "There she is! The half-breed whore and her Lycan dog! Take her alive if you can. Dead if you must. Either way works, I just want her brought to me. Her blood ends tonight."

Usually if anyone is a threat to our position, a human would eliminate the other, but here neither King nor Dark Lord are interested in fighting, no friendship, nor enemies. Direct death was something they don't know, slow painful deaths is their specialty.

I don't know what's on that woman that she was able to captivate Black. *** Daze POV "What was that Daze?" Daryl asked me. "She's the girl I'm talking about," I told him. I can't stop myself from smiling. "Damn! Coincidence, huh? She's the great Black. She is known in Different bars and clubs, if she looks easy to get, you're mistaken, that girl is really scary!" "I heard about the great Black being the hottest girl in this area, kissing guys then afterward dumping them but I didn't realize that she's just an ordinary girl, nothing special! She’s just basic, " I said and drank the beer.

“When did they come back?” “Last night, I guess. Be careful with people around. They are too crazy to be cautioned.” Lycus hissed. The Black are a gang that deal with missing people but are also dangerous because they kidnap for fun as well, and they are always attracted to women. They are always involved in activity like rape. I hate hearing about them because of their disgusting hobbies. They always fantasized about rape. Which I hated more. My gang only deals with hotels and gambling and weapons with other supplies, but we don't hurt women and kids unlike them.
