DEAR EX, I AM YOUR UNCLE'S MATE

DEAR EX, I AM YOUR UNCLE'S MATE

Inside, the air was thick with the smell of old books and dust, the shelves lined with ancient tomes and scrolls that hadn’t been touched in years. This place felt like a tomb, a forgotten relic of a time when the pack had been ruled by something far more dangerous than any single alpha. I moved through the aisles, scanning the shelves for anything that might give me answers. My fingers grazed over the spines of old leather-bound books, my eyes skimming the titles—Bloodlines of Power, The Hybrid's Curse, Secrets of the Alpha’s Mark—until I found one that caught my attention. The Dark Awakening. I pulled the book from the shelf, my pulse quickening. The title sent a chill down my spine, but I

Bound To His Obsession

Bound To His Obsession

Confusion, longing, and fear warred within him. “I want to see you,” he whispered. “But everything says otherwise. Everything points to a deception so vast I cannot comprehend it.” “The deception is right in front of you,” I said. “She is the deception. She is the creation of people who want to destroy us. They know that the strongest way to defeat us is to make us doubt each other.” The woman laughed softly. It sounded like my laugh, but it lacked warmth.

But I couldn’t hear him over the blood roaring in my ears. “You…” My voice cracked. “You killed him.” Ethan’s jaw tightened. “It’s not what you think.” Elias chuckled darkly. “Oh, it’s exactly what she thinks.” I spun to Elias. “You knew.” His smirk was slow. “Of course I knew.” My stomach churned. This was a game. A sick, twisted game between devils. And I was the one trapped between them. Elias took a slow step toward me. “You see, sweetheart…” He leaned in, his breath brushing my ear. “You never really escaped me.”

Deception

Deception

Nox "It's been over two weeks," I said, my arms crossed over my chest as I leaned against my desk and stared. "We need to tell Alex. She's going to find out sooner or later." I took a deep breath and stared down at Deloris Witt. Perhaps over the years I'd overestimated her abilities. In most things, most instances, she was unstoppable—Superwoman. If that were true, then this assignment, Chelsea Moore and Infidelity, had become her kryptonite.

Empire of Deception

Empire of Deception

I worked tirelessly day and night, all while maintaining my career as a lawyer so that I could use it as a platform for vengeance when necessary. For months on end, I spent every waking moment trying to find something that would expose the truth about MID's products and practices, until one night when all the pieces finally fell into place and everything made sense. I realized that shit didn't happen for people who walked a path of good faith. I dove deeper and deeper into the underbelly of Washington DC, and I began to crave the way deception and manipulation felt. I got drunk with power, and I realized this was who I was supposed to be all along.

The Impossible Destination

The Impossible Destination

The path to success in the modern world was all about how far you were willing to go and how dirty you were ready to play because in the end, the result always justify the means. The best kept secrets were those confined to a family circle like the one he shared with his brother and progenies. Jack Russell had never trusted his ex-wife who was the mother of his children because he had a belief that no one kept a secret better than the pure-bloods of a bloodline and his wife only sin was that she wasn’t a pureblood of the Russell bloodline. He owed his success to deception because in the eyes of the world he was an angel but beyond the bullshit image he sold to the public, he knew he was one

he spoke, lightly tapping on her tear stained cheeks. “You don't want to believe that your love has deceived you,” he grinned, turning more barbaric. His choice of words ached her soul. He was confessing such brutal things to her with no shame or guilt. He was not looking guilty to confess that he had broken her soul with his betrayal and it hurt her beyond her endurance. “Then ask yourself whether Armando Zelvasco has deceived Flora Alfanso by showing himself as Easton Marzel in front of her or……she paused and thrusted her face closer to his. She gazed into his light cerulean orbs with nothing but pain and pain.

I loved this book. Flora was such a strong character. Finally found a strong FL. I'm fed up of authors pursuing FL as doormat and spineless. I loved the way Flora stood up for herself. The chemistry between ML and FL was intense. Highly recommended.

I finished this book yesterday. I will be honest haha. I had a love hate relationship with the story while I was reading it. Other reviewers said the female lead is a strong one, but it was not the strong that I was expecting. I was expecting Flora to dump Easton because of how he treated her.

The Vows of Deception

The Vows of Deception

He approached Julia and asked her accusingly, "Did you throw the script on the ground?" Yasmin and her assistant looked at each other and smiled triumphantly. The director was known to have a short temper, and now he looked furious. They would soon witness the humiliating spectacle of Julia being dismissed from the team, and that was exactly what we wanted. That was what Yasmin and her assistant believed, but... Julia's voice was even and unruffled as she spoke. Douglas Murray's best-selling book, "A Journey to Splendid Beauty," inspires this script about a civet cat. This tale depicts how... "

The Billionaire’s Deception

The Billionaire’s Deception

Almost. “You think you're something special?” she snarled, hate flashing in her eyes.“Well, news flash, you're not. Grayson here would just use you, and when he's tired, he'll let you go like trash.” A wicked smirk curved on her face. “You're just a pawn in a larger game.” With that, she turned around and left, closing the door with a bang. “Don't think too much about anything she said. You know why you're here; don't let someone like her discourage you,” he said in a calm voice before taking another sip.
