It seems like she had been infected by the plague and did not manage to take the pain well and just passed away. I immediately look for a long cloth to cover her body and let the family in. I chanted some prayers on her body and of course, asked permission on her soul to let us stay in her house.

It was only on a few occasions that Lycans would die of sickness.

It’s not natural—it’s caused by dark magic. It’s spreading fast. And in three days, this entire city will fall.” Rhea’s eyes widened. “Why? What did these people do to deserve this?
