Deadly Sibling Rivalry Novels & Stories

It didn’t justify it, but it made it understandable. Axel hadn’t grown up like everyone else, his childhood was stripped of parental love, the damage that would do to anyone...and it shaped the man he grew into, cold, controlled and ruthless when he needed to be. But his childhood wasn't the only thing on my mind right now. “There’s something else,” I said slowly. “Finding out you had a sister was a complete shock. I never would have imagined. You never mentioned her.” His jaw tightened almost immediately. “Because I don’t like talking about it.”

My mom sat down on another chair beside me, “You need to be careful, if you’re ever going to get yourself entangled in his sheets for real then you better watch your back, Hayley. These are rich people's problems and…..” I cut her off, “That’s where you’re wrong mom, we can’t just attach this to rich people. Like it’s something common amongst them, even normal siblings can kill each other if one thing favors another.” I corrected, She gave a sharp nod, “You aren’t wrong, but I’m telling you this in particular that this is a family feud. A fight between brothers, apparently it’s even a fight to the death. Don’t get caught up in that crossfire, Hayley.”

It wasn't me who killed Derek, but it would be my fault if he died. There was no other way to look at the things. If I had kept my mouth shut and hoped the others would find out about the plan themselves, maybe Derek wouldn't have been poisoned to keep us in check. I wasn't naive enough to believe Alaric meant to kill his brother, it was obviously a warning to the rest of the family. “Alaric is a psychopath. Alaric is dangerous,” I remembered Caspian's warning. At that moment I was a little bit doubtful about it, but his words came true.

Blood slowly trickled down her pale neck. "Enough, Ava!" Chloe jumped up from the gallery, screaming at me. "You sociopath! Are you only going to be happy when the entire trust is frozen?" "Mom has always spoiled you the most. Can't you just grow up?" The three of them stood together, glaring at me with pure hostility, acting as if I were the villain here. My brother gritted his teeth. "You were the only one getting special matcha every night for years. Did we ever complain?"

"Yes, I am. Sick and tired of seeing that whelp get what should have been mine. No more. Now he dies. And then, while his helpless spirit watches, I am going to take you on the ground beside his body. I'll show all the spirits what I think of their choice." He's completely insane. She stared up at him and realized something else. There would be no reasoning with him. He existed as a rabid animal, and there was only one thing you could do when something got that unpredictable and violent. Put it down. Would Kor be able to kill his brother, though? Assuming of course Kor showed up to save her. Oh, who am I kidding? I know Kor will come. Hasn't he told me enough times I am his? Not to mention h

It can develop into full blown enmity if not properly dealt with from a young age. Alina and I had our own share of sibling rivalry when we were little and I can’t say it has completely dissipated. We still fight a lot, but it’s not out of spite or jealousy. It’s out of concern for one another. Our parents didn’t let our sibling rivalry escalate to the point of enmity like in the case of Rhea and Ashanti. It's such a shame two beautiful sisters grew up to be enemies. The parents who raised them are to be blamed for this.

“What’s it about, anyway?” “Who knows?” she shrugged. “They’re boys; they’ll always find something to argue about. It started off as normal sibling rivalry. They were two boys with a lot of things to fight for, and then it got worse. Fueled by my father’s encouragement of ‘healthy.’” - she made air quotes with her fingers. “Competition, they just got worse…” She trailed off. “I guess it’s just part of being a Sterling. We are quite dysfunctional, if you haven’t noticed…” I chuckled. “Every family has its troubles, I guess…”

“This is what happens when you deny a child his rightful place in his family. Sibling rivalry is so tragic, isn’t it?” Eva moved fast. Too fast. “Get your hands off my son!” she snapped, yanking Sam back just as Martha reached for him again. Nathan cried harder. Mia started crying too. “Why are you all being so mean?” Mia sobbed. “He just wanted to play…” “Because he’s trying to steal everything!” James shouted. “Our daddy! Our money! Our fortune! Our name! Our family!” “I’m not....” Nathan choked out, but Leo silenced him with one final blow.

Worth something. That face was gone now. “They started it,” Matteo said, voice low but steady. “The Cottis killed our family first.” Diego looked up fast. “What are you talking about?” “I mean exactly what I said,” Matteo said. “When Dominic was nine years old, our family—his parents, his older brother—were all murdered. Slaughtered in cold blood.” “And it was the Cottis?” Max asked, his voice hoarse. “Yeah,” Matteo nodded. “Orders came from her father. We know that now. It was a power play.”

All I could see as my wolf-chanted mate was people dying and me dying with them. Firstly, the brothers hated each other, and according to the rumors I heard. Draven almost had his brother killed. And from the little interaction of the night before. I could tell that sharing wasn’t one of their best qualities.
