My Twin and Fiancé Betrayed Me, So I married His Rival

My Twin and Fiancé Betrayed Me, So I married His Rival

“We were both trapped in unhappy marriages. It started as something casual… just two people seeking comfort. But one day she came to my office in tears and told me she was pregnant. With twins. And she was certain they were mine.” My chest tightened as the memories flooded back. “I panicked. I loved my wife. I had built a name, a reputation, an empire. That kind of scandal would destroy everything I had worked for. So I… I turned her away. I denied the children were mine. I threatened her, told her I would ruin her if she ever came near me again. But I gave her money, a lot of money and told her to end the pregnancy.”

Which somehow makes my chest tighten even more. “Adrian.” He finally looks at me. For a moment the distance between us feels strangely fragile. “You told the entire market our marriage isn’t a contract,” I say. “You overturned the story we built this whole takeover on.” “That story already served its purpose.” “That’s not an explanation.” “No,” he agrees calmly. “It’s not.” I fold my arms, trying to ignore the way the elevator suddenly feels smaller. “Then give me one.” He studies me carefully. “You want honesty?”

Married to my ex-husband's boss

Married to my ex-husband's boss

Elle's POV It took a lot for me to show up at work the next day but I couldn't skip it, it was all I had going for me and I needed the money to begin my new life as a divorcee. One thing I was grateful for was that no one knew I was married at work and naturally no one knew I was recently divorced too. Plus Richard and his new mistress worked in a different department and we almost wouldn't cross paths except there was a general meeting which rarely happened. I was seated in my cubicle buried in office work and drowning in my sorrows when I began to hear the heated chatter from my colleagues.

Divorced my abusive husband, married my billionaire boss

Divorced my abusive husband, married my billionaire boss

It felt like a bad joke. Irene continued, “His ex was my best friend, Sarah, who came from a powerful, wealthy family. She was obsessed with your father, but her family didn't approve of him… He wasn't “worthy,” they said, so she married another man. Unfortunately, her heart was still with him.” “Eventually we fell in love with each other and kept it a secret from Sarah for many years, hiding it like thieves. When you eventually came into the picture, your father got tired of hiding. He believed Sarah had moved on, so he insisted he needed to live his life as well.”

Leaving Heartbreaks Behind

Leaving Heartbreaks Behind

" My mother wiped away her tears and gently pushed Nathan away, turning her back on him and refusing to look at him again. That day, Nathan cried in my restaurant for a long time, but in the end, he reluctantly left with Christopher. They never came back again. I felt a sense of relief. From then on, there would be no connection between us. As the new year approached, my lawyer called to tell me that Christopher had agreed to sign the divorce papers. His only condition was that I return and go with him to finalize the procedure in person. I agreed. It would be a way to close that chapter of my life.

Claimed By My Ex’s Rival

Claimed By My Ex’s Rival

I felt like the world could do me and favour and make me invisible at this point, the earth can just open up it's beautiful mouth and swallow me whole because what the fucking hell? “Is that so?” “No, that's not the reason I got divorced and I absolutely didn't know that Radriel was the person I was supposed to get married to and I don't even care.” I turned to stare at him, straightening my back as I kept a stern expression. “We might have gotten off on the wrong foot, Mr Radriel but this is business and I'm sure your father understands that. You're father put up this deal and I'm here to redeem it. If you feel uncomfortable accepting this, Mr Radriel, you can also tell your father to give

Divorced My Husband, Married His Brother

Divorced My Husband, Married His Brother

Luckily, Charlotte was an ebony woman in complexion, so her flushed face wasn't visible, but Jack could hear her increased heartbeat and knew she was aroused by him. "No, Jack. I'm still Teddy's wife. Although, I plan to divorce him tomorrow, as I can't continue with him. Tomorrow morning, my father would report to the magistrate court here, and Teddy will be left with no other option than to accept the divorce," Charlotte said, believing Teddy would accept her divorce. "Haha," Jack laughed out, and Charlotte frowned.

The Return Of The Heiress

The Return Of The Heiress

"When you're alone and struggling and you realize what you gave up, don't come crawling back." "I won't." I meant it with every part of my soul. He signed the papers right there on my cardboard box table, his signature angry and harsh. Then he straightened up and looked at me one last time. "You'll never find anyone better than me." "I'm not looking for better." I opened the door for him. "I'm looking for nothing. That's still an improvement." He left without another word and I closed the door behind him and locked it. Then I slid down to the floor and sat there for a long time, staring at the signed divorce papers. I was free, completely free.

Dear, Ex Husband. You Cheated!

Dear, Ex Husband. You Cheated!

“No… no, she's not dead. I mean; I divorced her, but that was the greatest mistake of my life.” “You're divorced?” She asked, the look of concern deepening. “I'm so sorry to hear that. It must have been very difficult for you. May I ask what happened?” “It's… it's a very long story.” He said, sighing heavily. “—and it's complicated, too. This is the part no one knows, not even the media —I married twice. I divorced her for someone else, but that was the beginning of my nightmare.”

Sheila
This book really needs to be edited. People’s name change half way through the book. Plus it changes from having a son and daughter to just having a son. Not sure if the daughter reappears as I have not finished the book due to the confusion with name changes

The story about Alex, Lisa&Andy is interesting. But author, please don't hang your readers just like that. It's so unprofessional to insert other topic/different story just because you can't finish the first one. Be a responsible author.
