I glanced at Williams, who remained silent, as if in pain. "It's nothing, Dean. A friend of mine came to visit, and I was happy about it all." Dean picks up his platinum and ebony straight razor and with steady, graceful strokes, he deletes the stubble from his chiseled cheeks and neck without so much as a nick. Shaving cream isn't necessary when you have strong skin as Dean does. Rinsing the platinum clean with each stroke, he finishes, dries the blade, wets and dries his face once more, hangs his towel, then opens the door to the bedroom, releasing steam into the mild room. ...

Cecilia joined us a while later, having a huge smile on her face, but she silently watched me cut her father's hair. I had once seen an eye-catching haircut in a book in Gwen's library, I believe it was called a brutus for some reason but I knew it would suit Christopher's face perfectly and he would look so gentlemanly in it, so I settled for it; giving him average sideburns and cutting his hair low.
