Dear Ava Mga Nobela at Kwento

Seeing the caller ID, a huge smile appears on my face and I immediately answer. “Hello” “So much for calling me” her voice filters through. That’s Ava, my best friend and work buddy. “I just got here a while back, I was trying to settle down” “Fine, tell me. How is the town?” “You need to see for yourself Ava, I haven’t taken a tour but I am loving it already. It’s actually so beautiful” “Oh my gosh” she squeals in excitement, “maybe I should join you?” “Please, you should” I tell her, “you will love it”

“How are you, my dear? I thought you wouldn’t be coming back after all the pressure I put you through yesterday.” Ava’s smile turned more genuine, her mood lifting slightly. “Come on, Mrs. Perez, that’s why I’m here. To do my best. No excuses.” Mrs. Perez studied Ava for a moment, her gaze softening. Ava was so diligent, so eager to work. It wasn’t just her looks—though Ava was undeniably beautiful—it was her attitude. Ava never complained, never gave less than her best. Mrs. Perez made a mental note to adjust Ava’s allowance, but she said nothing. Ava, oblivious to the silent admiration, was already tying her apron and preparing for the day ahead.

Alfred asked kindly. And then as Emma moved her lips to reply, Ava's sudden voice made him scowl as she said, “Hello Mr. Alfred. I am the eldest biological granddaughter of my grandfather, Mr. Taylor, and I am the CTO of Vex Co… My husband and I promise to work hard on-” “Where should I sit? My knees hurt.” Mr. Alfred cut Ava off, his expression full of boredom and impatience. This seemed to have caught the attention of many guests, and they had begun to whisper to each other. And to save face, Mr. Briggs quietly said, “Mr. Alfred, please, come this way. I will take you to the front...”

“But you are also a West, a royal blood, you cannot deny that fact.” “Well, I don’t really care.” Seeing that there was nothing else to talk about and the awkwardness was unsettling, Karl decided to excuse himself. “Miss Ava, thank you for having lunch with me. Again, it is an honor to have finally met you. See you soon.” Ava did not take the ‘see you soon’ to heart. She quickly finished up her meal and left the hotel. On her way back to work, she called Tyler. She had a feeling that this Karl was up to no good and she needed to confirm whether everything he had said was true or not.

“Was this why you called me here so urgently? This is the big problem?” His frown deepened. “Is that not problem enough?” I shook my head, still smiling. “Edward… I am Ava, the daughter of Alpha Gary and Luna Celine. That doesn’t change because a few women whisper otherwise.” He looked at me like he wasn’t sure if I was mocking him or just fearless.

Professor Damien Vale. I closed my eyes and let the fantasy return. This time he wasn’t in his office. He was in the empty classroom after hours, lifting me onto his desk, kissing me like he’d been starving for me. His hands sliding under my shirt, his mouth on my neck, whispering my name like a secret. “Ava…” The fantasy felt so real I could almost smell his cologne. Suddenly the knock on my door snapped me out of it. Zara and Mia had come over with snacks and cheap wine, it was our version of emotional support.

~LORETTE~ “What are you doing here?” Nate’s voice is edged with unmistakable disbelief as Ava hurries toward us. She comes to a stop in front of us with that same sickeningly sweet smile pasted across her face, as though she hasn’t a care in the world. “You invited me, Nate.” She beams. “Your secretary sent me an email asking me to join the workshop as one of the mentors. Did you forget already?” A strange feeling of Déjà vu settles in my chest. In an instant, my mind drifts back to that night at the mountain mansion.

1| Avara's Disappearance I stared blatantly at my supposed little brother who was playing with his toys across the room. My hands caressed the sides of my hair, as I began to think about dinner. Where that was going to come from, I didn’t know. “Avara!” He called, causing me to change my sour mood to a more chirpy one. He stood up and ran to me, giggling all the way and I couldn’t help but smile. “Yes, Corey?” I answered, holding his hands in mine. He frowned as he burped a little, then the cute smile came on again.

“Hello” “Trevor,” Ava greeted softly. Ugh, shit. I practically forgot about her, he thought as he rolled his eyes. I should have looked at my caller ID. “Darling, are you well? I haven’t heard from you all week,” she said with concern. “Yes, I’m fine, Ava. I’ve just been busy. You know spring and summer are the busiest time of year at Hudson.” “Oh, of course. And I’m sure you’re wheeling and dealing your butt off.”

Not even in the slightest way. The elevator soon reached the tenth floor and Ava ran out of it. She met some employees on her way and decided to greet them "Hello" with a smile. "The group of four girls that were busy chatting stopped talking to her when they heard her. Their eyes scanned her body and the seeds of hatred started growing in their hearts. "And who are you?" One of them asked with a raised brow. "I am Mr Silver's new secretary. My name is Ava . Can you please tell me where...."
