Death Inspires Me Like A Dog Inspires A Rabbit の小説・ストーリー

I coughed, sputtered, and reached blindly for my tea like I’d been poisoned. And yet… beneath the bitterness there was heat. Weight. Something grounding. Not sweetness. Not comfort in the way I understood it. Comfort in the way a heavy coat is comfort when the wind is cruel. I stared down at the dark liquid in the mug. “Well,” I muttered to the empty kitchen, “that explains a lot about him.” The fox huffed softly from the laundry nook, still bandaged and annoyed with existence. The rabbit twitched one long ear in his makeshift enclosure. The thrush clicked once from her covered box, passing judgment on us all.

She began to frantically paw at the dirt and stone near the crack. A rabbit bounded up to her, and she skipped backward, a terrified yip escaping her. The rabbit squeezed into the small opening and Cassidy snarled. The animal was blocking her only means of escape. The weight of hopelessness began to squeeze her, choking her. Until dirt sprayed from the hole, a chunk of rock catching Cassidy on the end of her muzzle. The rabbit bounded out quickly, thumping the wall with a foot. Cassidy dove into the crack, forcing her way through, scrabbling at dirt and stone to make the way big enough to allow her passage.

I spat, my voice hoarse from the pain and exhaustion. He laughed, a dark, chilling sound that echoed through the forest. “Oh, you’re brave, I’ll give you that. But bravery won’t save you now.” He stepped closer, his eyes locking onto mine with a predatory intensity. “You’ve caused me a lot of trouble tonight, little rabbit. I should make you pay for that. But I like your spirit. It’s almost... entertaining.” I shuddered, pressing myself harder against the cliff, trying to put as much distance between us as possible. “You’re sick,” I whispered, my voice trembling with disgust and fear.

My movement must have startled it because it also moved away from me, whimpering. I stood rooted to the ground, my eyes not moving away from it. To anyone who sees me right now, they would think I am scared of this little thing but the truth is I am not. It only reminded me of Ayla, her delighted laughter, the innocent joy she found in puppies. Ayla had a puppy just like this breed, she cherished it so much and after her death, I developed a type of fear and hatred for puppies. They bring back memories and make me have a nightmare

My roommate, Jessica Miller, kept a pet dog in our college dormitory. Out of consideration for everyone else, I bought her a crate and told her that letting the dog roam freely would frighten the other residents. She lashed out at me. "Chloe, how selfish can you be? Would you like it if I locked you in a metal cage? I've had him for years. He doesn't hurt people, so stop worrying over nothing." During a dorm inspection, her dog suddenly lunged at the dorm supervisor. I desperately pulled the dog away, but the supervisor was still left covered in wounds. The incident went viral online, yet Jessica claimed that I was the dog's owner. My other roommates were threatened into silence, while

Then my wolf has pain was ascending to then heavens and then it formed an an incendiary shape of my wolf in the sky and all of a sudden it spoke to me. "Do you know why I died?" it asked "I assume from lack of attention, I know that doesn't give you enough attention," I could swear my wolf just sighed. "I don't give a fuck about your attention," Did my wolf just say a curse word? "Then why did you die," "You failed to give me my mate," I almost burst into laughter, what an absurd reason to die. "We have sex all the time," "You fool, having a mate is different from having sex, and if you don't give me a mate, I would die within you in real life,"

"You'll say anything, won't you? "And on top of that, Scarlett was busy working. You're trying to pin this on her? "Are you even human?" Seth chimed in as well. "Exactly. We don't even know if this person actually died or not, and yet he's pulling this stunt to scare everyone."

"I don't know any holy stories, My Lady." "Not holy," Miya snapped, then softened. "Something... simple. From your life." "Well," Finn started shakily. "When I was a boy... my mother kept rabbits. One of them, a little white one with a black ear... he thought he was a dog." Miya opened one eye. "A dog?" "Yes," Finn smiled, forgetting his fear for a second as his hands worked up to her knee. "He would chase the sheep. He would bark—well, squeak—at the mailman. He didn't know he was small. He just knew he was brave."

As one of the country's top high school teachers, I have helped countless students get into the best colleges. But I somehow find myself reborn as a poor kid from the countryside while attending a ceremony honoring my achievements. A mysterious voice echoes in my mind. "If you fail to get into college, you'll die!" How hard can that be? It's just getting into college. That's hardly a challenge for a genius like me. But soon I realize that getting into college isn't really about how smart you are. In the end, it all comes down to people and their motives.

, I said. I heard Hazel stifle a small laugh, but her face immediately contorted in fear when I looked at her. “You can laugh”, I assured her with a smile on my face and a small nod. “It is quite pathetic”, I chuckled. She snickered lightly and looked up at me. “Guess what? I'm going to kill him”, I smirked and looked at her. She stared back at me with a serious expression on her face. “He has to die, because apart from all the horrible things that dog can do, I have just realized that he no longer has a leash on. That's a rabid dog and he has been put down”, I said, reaching for her hand.
