Hey guys, I apologise for the delays with the edits for this book. I appreciate everyone that has stuck by me and my characters as I traverse the difficulties of juggling life and the love of writing for you all. Chapter 70-Alpha Ceremony is now the official ending of Book 1, A Deadly Obsession, and I hope you can all be patient with me a little longer as I get through the changes for the beginning of book 2, Blood-Moon Rising.

Lilith’s eyes widened in disbelief as she let out a hollow, mocking chuckle. “Really?” she scoffed, shaking her head as if to clear the absurdity of what she’d just heard. “That’s why you killed them? Because they saw her?” Her laughter died quickly, replaced by a seething frustration. She couldn’t believe how far this obsession had taken him. Francisco remained calm. "Anyway," Lilith said, her voice shifting to something sharper, more serious. Her eyes locked onto Francisco's with an intensity that couldn’t be ignored. "Tell me one thing."

Manolya’s POV “Death. She is dying. Her departure is unavoidable. Follow the sound of the crashing waves.” The voice was strangely familiar, a dark melody vibrating inside my skull that sent a wave of cold discomfort through my entire body. My heart hammered against my ribs. I twisted around, my eyes frantically searching the rows of weathered headstones for an intruder. “Aziz, someone is talking inside my head,” I whispered, my voice trembling. “It is not you! Can you hear it?”

A book is open as a triggering start where HE glances quick and cunningly smiles, starting with the words and the introduction. “DEATH REINCARNATE.” Titled, or perhaps just a random word that pops from HIS mind. The listener draws a sinister smile as it hides the very lust eyes its gazes towards the book it’s reading and started. Still playing as the ambiance set the mood. HE continues.

Some titles seemed interesting to him, like ‘How to kill and skin a sand wurm by JJ Rulus’ or ‘The spirit realm unmasked by Sir Tapnes’ and some made him shiver at the thought of their contents, such as ‘A look inside of fae anatomy by Priest Daphne’ and ‘Histories of demonic possession that nearly ended existence by Krun. He had already finished two rows and had started on the third when a slight whispering in his ear broke his concentration, “You must kill.” “What the..?” Rex said out aloud, looking left and right, searching for the person who had made the sound, not being able to see anyone, he followed where he thought the whispering from coming from, rounding the end of the large booksh
