Its been a week Since I arrived at midnight pack. The midnight pack is rumoured to have the most ruthless and feared Alpha across the land; Alpha Killian also known as the dark Lord. He earned his name after conquering packs that dared provoke him. It's said that he doesn't spare anyone once he attacks, not even a child. I made the decisions to come here after Theo brought home his mate without giving a single explanation. I always thought that we would live happily ever after but after Sandra came Into our lives, everything changed.

He couldn't afford to fail her. As Dakota ventured deeper into the labyrinth, he stumbled upon a chamber filled with ancient tomes and arcane artefacts. It was a place of dark knowledge, where the Twelve harnessed their powers and plotted their nefarious schemes. He knew that the answers he sought lay within these walls. With careful determination, Dakota searched the chamber, poring over the ancient texts and deciphering the cryptic symbols etched upon the artefacts. Each discovery brought him closer to understanding the rituals and powers wielded by the Twelve. Drake growled. Suddenly, his eyes turned red; he was fuming mad as he transformed. He runs towards the rouge, who transforms into a werewolf and mercilessly scratches his back. He wasn’t contented; he attacked the rouge, and then Drake beheaded the rouge until it transformed into a human, lying on the ground, lifeless. They fought the other rouge and howled angrily. “That’s for poisoning my stray!” Drake gritted his teeth as he beheaded them all. Beta Dillon picked up the poison's antidote and gave it to the alpha.

My mother harrumphed from the kitchen and the whole peanut gallery now sitting at the island snickered. “Yeah, Dad.” Nat shot back at me. Shaking my head, I turned to walk back to the door as I heard a call pull up. “She said company Nat, not family.” Opening the door, I saw Derek shaking hands with Zeus. Zeus brought his fiancé, Gabby, who happened to be a werewolf from Bucho’s pack. Derek had also brought his mate. They walked up the steps and I shook Zeus’ hand while pulling Derek into a hug.

All I had to do was await tonight's full moon. When the moon came, wolves of Night Shade pack gathered under the pale silvery rays of the moonlight. Alpha Logan Kade started with his usual fine speech, welcoming every wolf shifter into his pack and preaching the equality of all wolf bloods. He wanted change and would do anything to see it through. He knew it wouldn't be easy, as it wasn't easy for him as well. But he believed we could all get there if we stuck together.

I can’t help but shift uneasily as I sip the hot tea. Jay, meanwhile, seems blissfully unaware of my unease. Unlike Bucky, he doesn’t stop talking on and on about various topics. Drake's roar echoed in my ears as his body contorted into his wolf form. "I can't shift," I ground out through gritted teeth. "Go! Leave me and find our brother," I ordered Drake. The air thickened around me, pushing me toward the Dark Forest like a small brick wall. Dietus's sinister laugh filled the air, and I closed my eyes, knowing this was truly the end. When I finally pulled the boat to shore, an old friend was there to greet me. I pulled Deacon into a manly embrace, noticing how much muscle he'd bulked on, when arms as strong as steel hugged me back, "You have no idea how good it is to see your ugly mug." Eve cleared her throat as I pulled away, and in typical human fashion, extended her hand, surprising Deacon, "Hi. Im Eve, Axle's partner, nice to meet you." He took her hand, bowing slightly out of respect, "I'm Deacon Decker, Alpha of the White Haven pack, pleased to meet you Eve."
