Although it was very loud, Marlin was not shocked at all as she had expected this. “How long have you noticed?” Marlin asked the demon sitting on the floor. She dispelled her concealing spells and showed herself in front of the demon. “Since the moment you entered Britney’s mind.” The demon answered. The demon had horns so huge that they were bigger than his head and curled twice. His eyes were glowing yellow and his body was dark violet with mysterious markings all over. Nearby, Marlin could see rotting corpses and skeletons of various races. Perhaps Marlin was used to the smell, but it did not smell as bad as it looked.

It was dangerous. Under the scorching sun, three formidable demonic beings stood ominously in front of the ancient pack house, emanating an aura of malevolence. Each demon possessed a unique appearance, reflecting their individual nature and power. The first demon stood tall and imposing with ebony skin and fiery crimson eyes. His long, jagged horns protruded from his forehead, and he carried a wickedly serrated sword crafted from blackened bones. The second demon was shrouded in a cloak of swirling shadows, making it difficult to discern her true form. Her skeletal fingers clutched a slender, obsidian staff topped with a glowing, pulsating orb of ethereal energy. The final demon had a hulki

Caden knew immediately, it was Demon. He knew because all the other hounds never made a sound. Only Demon did the talking while the others surrounded the victim, waiting for Demon to give the attack command, then they would pounce, tearing the unfortunate victim apart piece by piece. Caden peered into the glowing eyes intently, then in a calm but firm voice, he said, “Here, boy… it’s me. Here, Demon… shhh.” He couldn’t risk a guard coming over to check out the commotion.

The memory returns slowly; Zephyr mentioning this to me and me telling him to come to me the next day, but Kai had left for Brooklyn, and I had to hold the fort. “Sulphur? Like the scent on that beast Caterina summoned?” Dimitri suddenly says. This is when Caterina steps forward. “What?” she asks incredulously, looking at Dimitri then me. “Now that you mention it,” I say, the frown on my face disappearing as I remember that massive dog-like beast we fought in the vampire’s lair. “Fuck, could that beast have been demonic? Like a Hellhound? Do they even fucking exist?!”

There have been, after all, summoners who’ve woken up one day to find that their demons refuse to answer to their call. When Ariadne’s turn came, it was almost as though she needed no coaching. Quiv had barely given her an instruction when the crystal burst a bloody red and spat out enough smoke to fill the circle before her two times over. The aged instructor smiled at it, and when the smoke dispelled, it revealed a demon that looked like a six legged dog with two eyes, a milky fur and the size of the Vesimae that began the summoning lessons. “Ah,” Quiv grinned. “A Canifrae. Quite rare for a first summon. Your reia must be most exquisite.”

They are low-ranking demons that assume any animal shape they desire and sometimes, even insects that mostly live doing their owners’ dirty bidding for the blood they receive from their owners’ fingertips. Standing by the now open window, my eyes were fixed on a dark-brown beautiful owl, whose void eyes stared back at me. I could see its futile efforts of trying to reconnect with its master and report what he was seeing which made the side of my lips curl into a smirk. Stretching my hand forward, I motioned for him to come closer as I forced the air around him to pull him to me, whether he liked it or not, and soon, on its dismay, it found itself on my window’s stool, wholly and closely faci

“Then why do you look like a cat?” “That my dear is due to a curse by a powerful demon,” Hughley said. “Demon?” “Yes, My dear. He is known as Zai, the Delta demon.” “Talking cats’ Magical bats. Now we have to deal with demons?” June asked. “Never even seen a demon before,” Elizabeth said. “Elizabeth. Each of you has seen a demon before.” Hughley corrected her. “When?” “Every time you look in a mirror.” His words adding nothing but confusion and fear, Bonnie asked what neither of the other girls could.

I look up and see Damen flying straight towards me. His black knee-length biker boots slam into the ground causing it to shake momentarily from the impact. He turns away from me to fight off several demons that have circled around me, in my weakened state. I watch as he spins rapidly with his dark black wings extended and manages to knock most of them away and creating an opening. Max's majestic black wolf, Dom, slams through the opening, turns, and claws several demons' throats out, while his Beta Jason tears organs out of a few others.

Behind him is a wagon drove by the manticores, a demon creature with a lion body and a bird claws, a scorpion’s tail and wears a face of a mortal with a row of sharp fangs. “Bonum vesperam, this is the child.” A green daemon has appeared in front of the door holding a girl shivering in fear. It was Aria, the mortal. The Dybbuk look at her keenly from head to toe and when he felt satisfied, he tossed a bag of golds to the green daemon.

Together I woke up with a heavy feeling. It’s like there’s a heavy rock on top of me. And i felt like something is liking my face. I forcely opened my eyes and a light from the window hit my eyes. The thing who's liking my face is a fucking dog. I hate dogs the most! I wanted to pushed away the dog from me but my body is jailed by a demon. The Demon is named Seymour Rios Evans, sleeping peacefully beside me while his arms are hugging my waist and chest tightly.
