Dyleon whispered softly to Lysan. “Wow, so that's the famous Demon prince, Roman Da'Luca.” “Yeah.” “They say he's gonna be the next Demon king.” Dyleon's eyes trailed Roman. “But, mere looking at him, he doesn't seem like someone who could cause terror.”

But the worse was yet to come. When I got to the library it was just the librarian around, I asked for demonology books and she directed me to the area. After a minute of searching, I found it. He looked down at my hands on his skin, where a faint silver glow was beginning to eat away at the obsidian marks on his arms. "Your blood," he whispered, his voice suddenly thick. "It’s singing." Before I could pull away, the clearing exploded in a different kind of light. The leader of the Hunters hadn't fled. He stood on a high rock above the falls, holding a heavy, bronze canister. He didn't look like a man anymore, he looked like a fanatic. "If the Demon will not fall to the blade," the leader screamed over the roar of the water, "then he will burn in the light of the first dawn!"

Wonder if I have any powers? *Ember* I run my hand over the books in my workroom searching for a specific one. "Ah ha." I grab a book with a dark crimson cover and gold lettering from the shelf.
