I replied, folding my arms over my chest. He glanced over at me, completely black eyes devoid of emotion. More demon than human at this point. I'm sure once upon a time, he looked like a man, back when his name was Alexander O'Connell, but now he looked more like a corpse. Teetering on the line between life and death. Cheating the reaper time and time again. I had to believe that one day the reaper would take the soul that's overstayed its welcome. He set my six-shooter back down, tapping her fingers on the desk like an anxious tell. "What do I owe the pleasure of seeing you for, Theodora?"

She had witnessed the raw power of werewolves before, but Deimon's ferocity tonight was unlike anything she'd ever seen. Deimon turned his attention to the Earthstalker, its amber eyes wide with terror. The creature thrashed within the net, its desperate struggle a stark counterpoint to Deimon's primal calm. In a flash, Deimon's hand shot out, a single, powerful claw extended. With a sickening snap, he severed the Earthstalker's head from its body. The clearing fell silent, the weight of Deimon's actions hanging heavy in the air. He stood there, panting, the Earthstalker's head dripping blood in his hand, a grim trophy of his brutal victory.

He spurted out loud. The courtiers exclaimed their grim remark on their face by hearing the words, as they were fleeing, all of a sudden, the Demon King came in front of them, and without wasting any more time, he started killing — the first to drop dead, was the soldier, and then and then,every one started dropping like flies. When the show ended , it was more than a horrible sight — blood splattered all across, and the moon in the sky glinted the killer of the dead men lying on the floor, mercilessly. Once the soul dissolves inside the evil spirit, they won’t be able to reincarnate again. "I will leave this place no matter what --whether you like it or not!" I shouted. After that I spread my beautiful and strong black wings. My hair turns into long and gentle blue fire. My eyes become all white and my lips turn black. I’m like a beautiful fairy demon but I’m not. I’m a reaper and it is my duty to collect and save souls. A blue fire scythe appeared in my hands then I flew away from hell. I returned back to where I live and that is --the land of the living.

Deagon told me congratulations and handed me my satin box. "You will only have one collection your first week, two the second week and so on. I'm certain you'll be exceptional dear," he winked and put the box on my desk along with a silver pocket watch and micro thin clear gloves. I lifted my gloves and marveled at the material. Once all the boxes were distributed Deagon told the class loudly,"Always remember that young human children, pets and those that have ever had a brush with death or are dying can see you without your gloves. Congratulations, you all are free to begin your reaping." Jenna jumped up grabbing my hands and danced around. I pulled away from her and felt like my reaper box

Samson inhaled sharply and eyed him strangely. "I did it as a show of my love for him, unfortunately he destroyed that by doing what he did," he mumbled softly. I eyed them both in utter confusion. Samson saw and sighed. "When lower demon documents are destroyed the demon no longer exists and won't regenerate in hell, so Dane's gone forever now," he explained and I looked at Mortas sadly. "We need to lock Samson's documents up in a fireproof safe immediately," I mumble frantically. Mortas jumped out of bed and looked at us both.

He stroked my hand with his thumb. “The bringers of death?” I suggested. “The Delazar’s thrive on war. Their leader loves chaos and power. Delazar believes the weak should be killed.” He paused, with a grim look on his face, and I thought back to what Sam said about his brother, then he continued, “Reaper is the name he gave our clan because we are the bringers of death.” “Have you… brought death to anyone?” I wanted his answer to be no but a part of me wondered and I had to know.

It was a summons from one power to another, laced with the undeniable urgency of a life-or-death emergency. For a long minute, nothing happened.
