His cold eyes, grinning lips, his presence screamed nothing but death. The demon growled. I scanned the place and all I see was thick smoke and it was stopping me. “Are you really going to do this the hard way?” A female reaper appeared beside him. “Why don’t you just let a sealer do her job?” She shook her head. They didn’t look like they could see me. “Mind your business.” He clicked his tongue and ran rapidly toward the demon. He leaped high and swung his scythe onward from behind slicing the demon vertically into half. He landed on his feet. He put his scythe over his shoulder, turned around, and walked away. The female reaper shrugged and followed him.

my voice is a dry whisper in my throat, and it vanishes instantly in the darkness. A thick chuckle burst out of the slot hole, “Look who it is we have here… Dale Lazarus, The Reaper, harbinger of doom, our top 1 fighter. To what do we owe this unplanned visit?” I stare deep into the hole the voice is coming from, “Dora Jael. I want you to terminate any contract you have with her.” The air in the room is suddenly split by a sound that makes the hairs on my arms stand up. It started low, a guttural, rattling noise, a dry wheezing chuckle, then the devilish laughter dies, and he continues, “You sound…”

/ He laughed loudly, swinging his bat and hitting brittle objects in the fancy hotel. He is a Death Angel, his name is Draven Black. A modern-day grim reaper, wearing not a cape but a black emo suit with a pair of black wings to fly. He does not have a scythe, he has a bat for beating humans. His look is completed by black hair and an upside-down cross hung in his left ear.

He nodded slowly, then laid the tile down next to the others. I looked at it. My unease grew, because it looked like a bullfrog crossed with a man. Oddly enough, it looked like . . . The creature from the Black Lagoon. “The ‘Other’ is Chiao, the Water Demon. According to legend he capsized boats, devoured men, and ravished women. He was . . . different from the Sacred Four.” I cleared my suddenly dry and tight throat. “How?” Mr. Trung tipped his head. “The Four exact a price for attempting to reach the Gateway, but they are sacred, honorable, bearing your essence away to be judged accordingly. Chiao is an Abomination. It consumes your very essence, making you part of it for all eternity.”

Safe. I focus on it. On the death in my hands. On releasing it. On letting it go. The power shoots forward. Black lightning. Death energy. Pure ending. It hits the dummy. The dummy disintegrates. Gone. Not destroyed. Not damaged. Just gone. Like it never existed. "Perfect." The Reaper smiles. "Again. Faster this time. No hesitation. Just aim and kill." Another dummy appears. I don't think. Just release. Death flows. The dummy vanishes.

Alexander said and stood up to leave when the reaper's words made him stop his steps. "I am especially here for you, and you need to explain everything you've done with the demon." "Elucidate, huh! Keep waiting, maybe another reaper will appear here to take you into the hell," Alexander announced haughtily and left. "Darling, can we go somewhere else?" the woman was intoxicated by Xavier and that's what the devil wants. "First, tell me your favorite crime, the sin you think it's worth," Xavier spoke to the woman as Reaper turned his attention to Xavier.

"What could that be? Amelia asked shivering. "The question is who could that be " Eric replied quiet unmoved by the gun shots. "It could be Derek, Samantos, Anna or anybody ". He took the fork and knife. He held the full chicken on one of the trays with the fork and cut it with the knife. He picked it with the knife into his mouth savoring every taste. "God please forgive me, holy Mart take control. Angel Micheal, son of God. I mean Angel Gabriel, the son of God, oh my fucking God, someone should just take control ". She was breathing heavily as she said the prayers.

There's a wide room with a matching window that has the scene of the ocean beyond a small meadow and a small group of trees to the right. There are two chairs and one round high coffee table between. Two people sit, one you know, one you don't. At least not from this story. "So," says Cayce, "I'll introduce myself first. But since this is the end of my book then you probably know about me enough. Cayce Vance, eighteen. Married around now, ready for some action, and half-demon and half-angel hybrid."
