Mia stood close to him, holding the little dagger the sorcerer had given her. With a deep breath, Mia took the lead, stepping cautiously into the room. The low lighting and flickering candles cast eerie shadows on the cold stone walls. The atmosphere was suffused with an otherworldly energy, prickling at their skin as they ventured deeper. Heartman followed closely behind Mia, his heart pounding in his chest. He had never thought about this before jumping into it, but now it was too late because Mia's mind was made up. As they neared the center of the room, Mia and Heartman discovered the main altar, a grotesque structure adorned with esoteric symbols and surrounded by charred remains. This

The weapons glowed with strange symbols. "What–" Maddie began but started to cough. Smoke had filled the room. The burning demon was still running around the diner. The other three demons were crouched, and growling like rabid dogs, their saucerlike eyes glowing with a manic light. One of them let out a loud howl like a wolf and pounced towards Cassie. She screamed and there was a sudden hot burst of light as the sword in her hand blazed up. Cassie leaped forward, sweeping her weapon at the demon, her skirt billowing behind her. In the light of the Celestial Blade, the demon’s appearance was unpleasantly visible: black, scaly skin, a gaping black hole for a mouth, bulging, orblike eyes, and

Thousands of soldiers from Yarroland's army were hidden in the forest as well. Although thermal weapons couldn't truly harm a Warrior at the Soul Awakening stage, they would be a distraction. Any slip-up in a battle between experts could mean the difference between life and death. "Sebastian!" Alain roared from among the crowd. What happened next shocked everyone. Alain's snow-white hair was turning black rapidly, and his white robe was slowly transforming into an obsidian suit of armor. Everyone there thought of a name at the same time—the Demon Slayer. Decades ago, the Demon Slayer had slaughtered all the inhabitants in countless villages in Yarroland. He was also the most mysterious entit

His blood ran cold when everyone froze in place, Asha included Damian and Diamanté had suddenly appeared at their table as if the two chairs they were sitting in were there the whole time. “Well well well, look what Blood’s got going on here. You’re in heaven right now, aren’t you?” Damian asked though not expecting an answer. Diamanté went to run the back of his hand against Asha’s face, but Young growled out, “don’t you dare touch her.” Both demons eyed him and shared a troubling look. “The council sent us to see how your progress is going and imagine our surprise when we find you humaning around with your little doll,” Damon said.

He looked at me in shock and I could see the fear in his eyes when he looked at my arm. "Demon." I heard him say before running away from my room. I just asked why he seems to be scared. Who is the demon? Me? What is a demon by the way? Then when I got dressed I went out of the room and went to the kitchen, I saw a knife fall to the floor so I took it but I immediately let it go and closed my eyes because I saw something in my mind again. I saw the face of my mom and the girl with the horns again, mom was holding a knife and stabbed that girl with the horns, the girl did not know because she was sleeping.

girl:- don't tell me you are going be soldiers and die for your country. demon:- no I have a plan for grand death, what you ask for, from this shrine. girl:- I ask, it's embracing, it's your happiness, and I am a rider so my protection from accidents and It's working for me, do you feel light when your father died, or did you cry for him? demon:- I was sad and cried hard, because after all this I can never be free, from suffering, I am confused, one part wants to die, the other part wants to give me another chance, and the other is so scared to live and he finds no meaning in living.

“I didn’t consider that. Sorry. Please hold out your arm.” Clara held out her left arm. It was perfectly unscathed, with no cut marks. The old cigarette burns from her bullies weren’t there either. It was a nice sight. She looked up to see the demon pulling out a knife from his cloak and knew her arm wasn’t going to be unscathed for long. He slashed his arm and held it over her arm with the blood dripping down. “I’m going to cut your arm now, you can close your eyes if you like,” he announced. “This part is the bonding ritual.”

The thrill to try it earlier engulfed her, she looked around, no one was with her, Meena was asleep in little the room next to hers. She lit a lamp and sat on the table to read the book. Opening it, she found out there were so many things people could summon; witches, demons, angels, fairies...she searched for the guardians, it was hard to see because the book was very old. Guardians of the light as it was called, beings who protect the interests and happiness of their masters who called them.

As I was saying, he went on as Pagomaris nearly wept, clapping her hands at her servants, sending them scurrying for something suitable to my taste, your opposition won't expect you to be ready since neither of you has experience. I beg to differ, I shot back. I've been in lots of fights. That helped me feel a little better. I'd been through a hell of a lot and managed to survive. Surely I could handle a demon or two considering the firepower I had at my disposal. I remind you, Sass sent, stern and almost harsh, no use of other powers. Only demon. Unless you want to be put to death? Oh crap. Gotcha. Slash attack, Sassy sent. Take out their shields first then work from the bottom up. Most don

Their stares were piercing into each other like they were in a battle. Clairra could release her arrow and let it fly into the demon’s heart but she sure knows how fast he can dodge it. Love? How does this demon even know that word? Demons don’t know how to love! All they do is fight each other, betray each other for the throne, trying to conquer the world they live in! “I will ask for the last time, demon, who are you?” The intention to shoot her arrow was obviously written in Clairra’s face and there was no other thing a demon likes but to play games and keep your fire growing. He looks up grinning at her.
