Sin: Ninety Days With The Sorvino Don

Sin: Ninety Days With The Sorvino Don

Sin is sitting at the head of the table, his posture so arduous. "Come sit, Summer," he says standing to pull out the chair for me. I balance on my seat and have breakfast. I eat like I am starving and after dessert, I can't take in any bite again. "Can I go and see Poppy? I would like to apologize," I mutter. "Follow me," Sinclair says as he leads the way toward the worker's side of the house. * I apologize to Poppy and the two guards I had injured and then, Sin leads me to his room. The moment he closes the door, his lips smear against mine, and with his tongue, he forces a part into my mouth.

His Sin

His Sin

How I feel when I look at him is likely how everyone feels. "He's Lust,” Cian mutters drily. "How much of your personality is actually based off...You know that?" I shift uncomfortably on the couch, preparing myself for his answer. If he truly is the epitome of greed, then I should be terrified, although I’m aware that if he admits he is, it’s not going to change anything. "Enough of it that it becomes annoying,” he sighs, fiddling with the cuff of his shirt. “There is a lot we Sin’s can do, however, to separate ourselves from our true nature, though.”

A touch of sin

A touch of sin

I needed the comfort, and it managed to calm down my erratic heartbeat. "I know." Damian nodded at one of the security guards- who didn't bother looking at me. What was the deal with that? Once we arrived at the front doors, it was already opening and a man greeted us. He had a friendly smile as he gave Damian a handshake and I recognised him as Santino. "Boss, thank you for coming. I didn't think you were going to make it," he said, a grin on his face that matched Damian’s . "Of course, but I'm not staying long. Nova, this is Santino, my cousin. Santino, this is Nova," he paused for a moment. "My date."

His Sinful Desire

His Sinful Desire

The other men was shouting something but she couldn’t hear anything. Her hand felt weak that she couldn't even lift it up. She faintly saw how Dye's expression darkened and a creaking sound made all the men stopped. There were cracks everywhere as if the air broke into thousand of pieces while Dye's blood painted his knuckles. “Damn it!” She heard a silent cursed and when she looked at the man's side profile, she realized something. Yes! He was one of the seven deadly sins. Jack the sin of lust. One of the king's in the Cabrine city. But, why did he harmed her? As far as she remembered, the seven of them were the closest friends, so why would he hurt her?

M.Z. Mauve
seems like an interesting read. the opening chapters and prologue had tension and some good descriptive imagery. just be sure to proofread the narration to get rid of minor punctuation errors (mostly in parts with dialogue) and to improve sentence structures. overall, intriguing plot

The story seems interesting, but I noticed sentences in the past and in the present on the same paragraph. It was hard to concentrate in the story with those changes. Needs a few corrections with this, but overall, a nice read.

Death of Vampires (Book #2 of BTCO)

Death of Vampires (Book #2 of BTCO)

Simon heard the closing of the door after which his mother, along with his uncle had been dragged out of the inner circle and everything around him seem to slow down. He stood there, reflecting on it all, and then he looked at Elder Samuel when he said to him; “Simone committed a grave sin this time. How are you going to deal with her?”

X-HABIT

X-HABIT

An angry Steven said walking out but paused in his tracks and turned to look at their faces one more time "And if ever you finally reconsider and decide to speak up without me fishing you out myself, I still won't spare you. Remind me to kill you when you do 'cause you shouldn't have snitched in the first place. Snitching is a sin and persons found guilty are sinners who deserve to be punished. I am no Priest whom you'll come to confess your sins to. I'll murder you without thinking twice" That said, Steven stomped out of the room in high dungeon.

I Am Mustafin

I Am Mustafin

"The Ringleaders can break the law if they want to. It honestly really only matters if they commit the ultimate sin." Ultimate sin? She's got my attention, and I look at her, urging her to elaborate. "You know... fornicating or impregnating someone belonging to a different Ring," she lowers her voice even more, nearly whispering. "Even that will get you in big trouble with the Arbiter and General. Honestly, you're better off dead at that point. They'll kill you anyway, but they'll make sure you suffer before pulling the trigger." She pauses momentarily, thinking before adding, "And they broadcast it across all sectors to make an example out of you."

The Mafia's Damnation

The Mafia's Damnation

“So if someone sold a man out and that man ended up dead without being guilty. For instance, they sold him out without knowing the man's real occupation, without thinking about how the man had been there for him, feeding him, clothing him and sheltering him… is that what you would call a betrayal?” His breathing shifted slightly. Interesting. “Yes,” he said again, slower this time. “That would still be a sin.” I tilted my head. “What if the one who died wasn’t guilty then?” “Only God can decide who is innocent.” “God,” I repeated softly. “Right.” Silence fell. The only sound was the candle burning outside the booth. He didn’t speak again, maybe sensing something off. “You sound familiar,” he

Alpha Noah

Alpha Noah

Noah only started pursuing me when the deal was off. “But I’m not a good person. He is meant to be the good one, he should have stepped away,” Cian rants, at this point hardly making sense. I want to shake some into him, make him realise what he’s doing, and what he’s risking by being like this. “But the world is always against me. That’s why I was made to be a Sin.” “We don’t need to take this out on anyone Cian,” I remind him. “I do feel guilty, but I’m not going to apologise about making my decision.”

Divorce Is A Sin

Divorce Is A Sin

*"But you only found the small lies. The man who funded your company wants something back. And he is not the kind of man who asks twice." A pause that lasted exactly long enough to feel like a door swinging open on a dark room. *"See you soon."* The line went dead. The screen flashed once — a photograph, there and gone in under a second, like a flashcard held up and pulled back before she could read it fully. But she read it. She read it completely in the way you read things your brain is not ready to process but processes anyway. Lila Bennett. In a prison jumpsuit. Smiling the way Lila had always smiled when she knew something you didn't.
