The Descendants - Rise of the Reaper Army

The Descendants - Rise of the Reaper Army

“Well, as the decades passed and we entered the 20th century, characters like Dracula emerged but they were nothing like the real vampires. Characteristics like changing into bats, sleeping in coffins, and being repelled by garlic were nothing more than someone’s creative imagination Gabriel, you know that. We knew then that if people had discovered the real vampires the stories would have been very different. I can only assume that after the plague they all died out and none were never discovered.” “So, you and your sisters are the only five living descendants left in the world?” “No, there are others,” she told him. “I can feel them out there somewhere. Their vibration is faint, but I know

Pirate Princess: Mated To The Merman CEO

Pirate Princess: Mated To The Merman CEO

Natasha Growing up, I didn't have friends—bearded men and bottled rum surrounded me. My step-dad, Roger, was the captain of our ship, and the men and I were his loyal pirates. Well, I was his daughter, his pride and princess, and not allowed to join in on the sword fighting and robbery. Of course, I never listened and beat my first opponent as a twelve-year-old. Okay, so the man I stabbed my sword into might have been drunk, but I finished him regardless, and not twenty-four hours later, the men on our ship called me the pirate princess.

He then exited the bridge. Adrian too walked out and found that Gloria had returned to their cabin. She was sitting on the bed. Noticing his return, she smiled and said, “You’re back. Why did Casey summon you? Is something happening?” Adrian nodded. “They discovered a pirate gang ahead of us. The crew was panicking and didn’t know what to do.” “Which organization do the pirates belong to?” asked Gloria. “Probably Scorpius, but I can’t confirm it for now,” said Adrian.

The Moon's Descendant

The Moon's Descendant

“Not all chosen descendants can wield the powers of the Moon, only a select few throughout time have been blessed with the gifts. The powers have been known to include, but are not limited to; Telekinesis, the power to move objects with the mind. Hydrokinesis, the power to move water and manipulate the tides. Aerokinesis, the power to manipulate air and weather. Shape shifting, the power to morph oneself into another form. Gravitokinesis, the power to manipulate gravity” “Mum. Are for real with this?” I said closing the book. “I absolutely am” she said snatching the book from me, “Come sit, sit” she said ushering us to the sofa. Mum sat down on the coffee table in front of us and leaned in c

The story is really good! The writer seemed to be learning how to tell the story from two perspectives. At first the author rewrote whole scenes but listened to readers and adapted it a little better. Still some time jump with perspective changes. Zelena has so many powers it seems a lil contrived.

Lost Between the Tides

Lost Between the Tides

Not only would their ransom note be met by deafening fucking silence, but it turns out that I had the pleasure of sharing a surname with some famous pirate overlord. Great... just great. Was I even related to Calico Jack? If I was, I didn't know about it. I'd never done the whole 23andMe thing. Never cared to. I didn't really care who my ancient ancestors were. It just didn't matter much to me. They had lived and done their thing, and here I was as a result. I mean, thanks, I guess. But that's pretty much it. I didn't really care to dig into it.
