When the Embers Turn to Ash

When the Embers Turn to Ash

From my fingers to my toes, they were all carefully plated. Several wealthy elites in their fifties and sixties—men and women—sat around the table, picking up the ceviche from my body and tasting it. Sometimes, they would poke at me with their forks. Humiliation burned through me. I wanted to fight back, but my limbs were weak. “This one’s not bad,” an old man with pockmarked skin said as he licked his fork. “He’s just a bit too skinny.” “But the people who sent him here said he’s untouched. If he’s clean, he’s worth every penny.”

The Charmer

The Charmer

High, arched windows filled the western facing wall and provided plenty of reading light. She sighed in delight. It was perfect. No doubt everything she ever wanted to know about these people was in here, and she couldn’t wait to get her hands on it. One of the little giraffes (villi) that were such popular pets in this world walked up and gravely sniffed at her. Lemming wagged her tail politely and returned the greeting. Amused, she watched as it sauntered off, curiosity satisfied. Independent little creatures, she thought. “Can I help you?” A voice inquired, and she turned to find an older man with the expression of someone trying to keep his thoughts to himself.

A very good story. I loved its uniqueness and it's richness. The world you created was vast, imaginative, and the Adventure was exciting, heart warming, and often funny. The characters had depth, flaws, and they always kept me guessing. I loved it. I can't wait to read the sequals.

This would probably be one of my favorite novels in this platform. Beautifully written chapters, and a very well-made plot. You can't help but be enchanted by the characters of the book as well. I had fun reading it up to the end.

Lurking in the Dark - Book 2

Lurking in the Dark - Book 2

He ran into the kitchen and immediately wanted to storm through the open back door, but had to brake, because right in front of the door was a blood-covered woman with blond hair, right next to a dead Proles - more precisely an Iuba. This creature was in the shape of a German shepherd, but was at least a head taller, if not more. It was striped gray and black and had a lion-like mane that was only a little darker than the rest of the fur. It had a long tail with long hangings and a little goatee under its chin.

The Chronicles of Wolves and Fire

The Chronicles of Wolves and Fire

"There are rumors of vortices showing up in other places. Nothing confirmed, though." Taking a deep breath, she said in a rush, "The inner back cover was carved with a picture of a huge natural stone archway between two cliffs. There was a river at the base, trees all around it and a waterfall coming down from one side." She was simultaneously terrified and relieved by the look on his face. "You know where it is, don’t you?" He nodded, his shoulders easing. "About a day and a half away. Two days, tops. It’s called the Meriden Arch." His breath left him in a rush, and he closed the distance between them. "Thank the gods." He took her hand, lifted it, and kissed her knuckles. "And thank you, f

The Drifter's Memoir of a Second Life

The Drifter's Memoir of a Second Life

Suddenly freeing herself from the security guards, she pulled out a tiny glass bottle from her handbag that contained a dark brown liquid. My eyes widened—it was acid! It all happened so fast. As Susie laughed maniacally, and the crowd screamed in panic, she unscrewed the cap and splashed the acid at my face. I closed my eyes before I knew it, resigning myself to fate… However, the pain I expected never came, and I eventually noticed the broad chest right in front of me—all the acid had splashed all over Harry's back. Hiss! "Ugh!" He groaned in pain, as the acid burned through the fabric of his clothes audibly, and the pungent scent of charred flesh swirled in the air.

Claimed by the Forbidden Alpha: Wild Bond

Claimed by the Forbidden Alpha: Wild Bond

The merman looked at Athos, his dark eyes shining with a mixture of desire and something deeper, something Athos still couldn’t name. “Are you ready?” Carbius asked, his voice deep and full of promise. Athos nodded, speechless, his body already responding to the merman’s touch. Carbius slid his hands along the sides of Athos’s body, removing his wet clothes with slow, deliberate movements. Athos’s skin prickled at Carbius’s touch, each movement awakening a new wave of pleasure. The merman then positioned himself over Athos, their bodies perfectly aligned. He brought one hand to Athos’s thigh, gently parting it, while the other explored the human’s chest, making him gasp with pleasure.

Emerald (Book #1 of the Jewel Series)

Emerald (Book #1 of the Jewel Series)

Helm I have no idea who the hell could be at the door. It’s late, and it’s raining heavily outside. I was surprised when Emerald growled like that. That is her warning growl. Add the fact that her eyes are glowing, and whoever it is can’t be good. Kari looks at me worriedly, but I tell her it will be ok. An omega walks into the room and tells Jason that two men here wish to talk to him. I have my back to the door, so I can’t see who it is. I hear Nalena gasp as I look up at her. The sheer panic and absolute terror on Emerald’s face tell me these people are not good. Emerald doesn’t even say anything; she just vanishes. Devon and Nate bolt up and look around. I have no doubt that

Itzthalia Charm
The skill of the writer is unique, the plot is amazing ❤️and unpredictable and still very transparent, I love Alyssa role as a motivator and supporter to Darrell unlike other random plots where the female protagonist is waiting for her prince charming to rescue her from distress I find that pathetic

What do I say about this book... it’s so powerful. I honestly felt my whole thought process shift after finishing it. Such a beautiful read. With life so hectic is was great to be taken to another world and sink into the story. As always I love these stories and characters created. Always refreshing

The Peculiar Morass

The Peculiar Morass

He followed it, his feet walking on it’s own until he reached a section of fantasy book. He reached the peculiar book with glowing gold letters, as if it has life inside. He almost dropped the book while browsing the few pages… “It has the story of our life as Kalantiaw until I died as Estefan,” says Joshua, the problem is it was written in his perspective, in the end, he was not able to know what Leticia had been thinking, also there is no mentioning of the bracelets nature, not even how it ended on Amaya’s hand.

She however, knew that it wasn’t intimidating enough when the merman began to laugh. “Come on, I don’t bite…yet” he said smiling as he held Ashinaby the hand. Ashina’s blood ran cold immediately. She was about to bark at him when she held a deep voice that shook. “Take your filthy hands of her, or I’ll feed you to the sharks for dinner” immediately the merman left her and ran Away. Ashina turned to thank her knight in shining armor and she gasped. Staring at her was the most handsome man she had ever seen.
