I closed my eyes for a moment, feeling so comfortable that it seemed like a dream. Dante turned his body toward me and lay on his side, his shoulder extending far past mine toward the ceiling. The veins along his arms were like rivers that ran all the way down to his hands. His blue eyes were on me, aggressive and soft at the same time. That's what Nate's eyes did to me. The golden, caramel orbs locked on mine and it was all I could see. His eyes are red rimmed as if the surgery was still taken its toll but his face is bare and so responsive.
