Desperate Measures

Desperate Measures

Liya’s scream echoed throughout the room as the window shattered, spraying shards of glass all over the study. Her body shifted backward impulsively, her heart beating noisily in her chest. She rushed for shelter, her hands trembling as she took cover behind the gigantic desk, the wood pressing into her back.

Despised Relationships (English Version)

Minutes later, the glass door of the shop swung open. “B! Oh my gosh, your eyes are swollen again! What happened?” Her voice was sharp with worry as she rushed over. “A…” I tried to speak, but my lips trembled. The tears broke through, spilling faster than I could stop them. Amirah’s own eyes glistened. She bit her lip hard before pulling me into her arms. “Shhh… I’m here. You can tell me everything. Cry all you want—I don’t care who’s watching,” she whispered, rubbing slow circles on my back.

Tuberose

Tuberose

The weight of his betrayal and the degradation heaped upon me threatened to drown me in a sea of despair. As I sink to the ground, the desolation around me mirrors the desolation within. The cold, unforgiving earth beneath me seems to absorb my pain, offering no solace in return. I sit there, a broken figure in a desolate landscape, my sobs echoing in the emptiness.

Jane Chunli
Nice story so far. Keep it up author but I think author should improve in her tenses and grammar. The story is nice one, I like the way she gave glimpses of what would happen in the story in the future. Nice book and story line author, keep it up. But Michael seemed pompous for my liking.
Anie Angel
The story is great, the way you portrayed how your closed one (best friend ) can turn into a foe with time, how in one second everything changes and it hurts when you know you are right but no one trusts you. Well done btw, good luck

To live or to love

To live or to love

Gasher watched from the doorway, his expression unreadable. Carissa's lifeless body was stretched out on the floor of the large cage, her limbs contorted and her face twisted in an expression of agony. Every inch of her skin was a deep shade of blue, almost black, as if someone had painted her with indigo dye. Her clothes hung off her body in tatters, evidence of the struggles she had gone through before succumbing to the disease.

Living With My Lady Boss

Living With My Lady Boss

However, every single bullet seemed to stop around a meter before Wilbur, as if they had been met with an invincible barrier. The bullets would lose speed and flatten out of shape before falling to the ground as if they had hit solid metal. Wilbur smirked coldly, lighting up with roaring spiritual flames. "Dirge of Despair." As the words rang through the air, a powerful wave of spiritual pressure shrouded all the soldiers of the Scorpion Army. All at once, an overwhelming sense of isolation and hopelessness filled the soldiers. They fell into a daze, dropping their weapons and falling into a deep, terrible depression.

DESIRE

DESIRE

The chilly weather of September nipped at my skin as I leaned on the balcony while staring up at the sky. "Beautiful night, isn't it?" I jumped and quickly turned around, seeing a man who looked in his early twenties, starring up at the sky. Even with his mask on, I could tell he was gorgeous with a sharp jaw and high cheeks bones that made him more handsome. His eyes were the prettiest color a pale light blue like the ocean and green and light gray flecks around his orbs. Pale blue eyes Green and silver specks. Holy... This was Iñigo Callan!

Claimed By The Mafia Billionaire

Dysis was stopped at the entrance to the dimly lit shack, the air heavy and oppressive smelling of iron and sweat. Her pulse thumping in her chest, her eyes grew wide and she found herself unable to turn away from the graphic image ahead. The blood so much blood. It permeated all around. The sight was terrible; creeping under her skin, her stomach turned in agony.

The Demon's Mate

The Demon's Mate

The room, once vibrant and full of life, was now a somber testament to her anguish. El-Kharis's departure had left a void that seemed to swallow everything around her. Her breath came in ragged sobs as she clenched her fists, the fragments of the ceiling digging into her skin. Her body trembled uncontrollably, not just from the cold but from the weight of her own guilt and despair. "El-Kharis!" she cried out, her voice breaking with raw emotion. The name felt like a plea, a desperate call to the heavens that seemed indifferent to her suffering. Her anguish echoed through the empty hall, bouncing off the walls and mingling with the debris around her.

His Regret: Loved by My Ex's Uncle

There were dark stains on the floor that added to my growing despair. Josie’s cruel laughter echoed in the room as she slapped me across the face. Her hand left a stinging burn. Her eyes glinted with sadistic pleasure as she pressed my head into a bucket of water, dunking me repeatedly. Each time she forced me under, I struggled for air. My lungs were burning with the desperate need to breathe. The cold water was a harsh reminder of how far I had fallen. The sight of Josie's twisted satisfaction only deepened my despair.
