So, with the little strength left in my body, I pushed myself to the limit, my strides growing more desperate, more determined, yet the forest seemed to stretch on indefinitely. My mind was consumed with the fear of getting caught, and I repeated the mantra, "I shouldn't get caught, no," to myself as I ran with all my might.
