Wooden shelves held jars of dried flowers and small books, and every corner was cozy in a way that made time slow down. I pick one up, but instead of eating it, I trace its edges with my finger. “What does it remind you of?” she asks softly, resting her head lightly on my shoulder.

Carefully and with reverence, she inverted the molds onto elegant white porcelain plates. The cake stood gracefully in the center of the plate. Harper then took a small sieve, dusting a fine layer of powdered sugar over the surface like the first layer of snow. As a final touch, she took a spoon and drizzled the remaining dark red cherry sauce around the plate in a dramatic, abstract movement. The dark red liquid flowed over the white porcelain, looking contrasting and sexy. Harper placed the porcelain plate on a large silver tray. Under the glow of the kitchen lights, the dish didn't just look like a dessert; it was a work of art that teased the senses.

A small drawing desk in the corner, crayons scattered across it, a few papers with colorful scrawls. I stepped in slowly. On the wall, drawings were taped up. A child's drawings — a house with a triangular roof, a sun in the corner with rays drawn as straight lines, a tree with round red fruit. Then I saw it. One drawing in the middle. The top is completely covered of papers, crayons and colored pencils. Sketches filled the papers. "Nico..." She whispered as she approached the desk, curiosity immediately replaced amusement when she saw the first drawing showed dinosaurs. “You are so obsessed with dinosaurs.” The second sheet still contained dinosaurs. The third one, Althea stopped. Wait. Althea thought gently as she reached for another sheet. That wasn't... She picked up the page and saw several circles and circles. The sheet has drawings of hallways and measurements. No. She corrected herself as her heartbeat slowed. Not measurements. Rooms.

He murmured an apology and rushed to the kitchen to bring the two servings of mocha pots de crème, he had especially and carefully struggled with, while the masters were recovering from the sensual session from earlier. He had used the heart shape he’d found among the utensils. Somehow, his master’s choice had rung to him as romantic, so he’d wanted to please him with a proper layout, as well. As he placed the dessert in front of the two masters, Lucas chuckled softly.

Lexi also wanted to make the cake as a surprise for Norm, and Marcus I had seen her drawings for it, and it was impressive. It was going to be a three tiered chocolate cake, with buttercream frosting. She was going to have a waterfall of blue icing going down all three layers of the cake, ending in a pond at the bottom. She was going to decorate the sides of each tier with flowers, and trees. At the top she was making two wolves that would have their heads tucked together standing in a meadow. It was going to take a lot of work, but I knew she would pull it off. I had also agreed to make my croissants as an appetizer.

She walked up to them and laughed out; they looked as if they were made by some kid. There were many such drawings carefully framed and decorated on the wall; there were drawings of mountains, houses, something that looked like elephant, flowers and apple. Bee was a brilliant artist and couldn't stop herself from criticizing them. She said to herself, "These are so childish, why would he keep them framed?"
