All the shadows that swirl in the wind gets sucked into the stone circle, and the symbols on the stone rim start to glow silverish. From the gelatinous material, the devil emerges. He looks the same as before, but I can feel power exude from him as if it’s a tangible thing. The wind doesn’t stop, but it whips through his long, coal-colored hair, making the locks dance around his face as if he’s a goth version of Medusa.

Ginger haired Emily Hurst looked comical with her mouth hung open and hands in the air, she was obviously about to yell out something. I was only half surprised when he materialized out of thin air half a second later. This was the first time I had met the devil in daylight and I felt the hairs on my skin stand erect at his sight. His pale white skin looked almost yellowish, like someone suffering from a rare skin disease and his long dreadlocks looked even more tangled than usual. Only this time, I noticed a tattoo of a big, black cobra at his collarbone which extended all the way to his neck.

“How did you get in here? I’ll call the cops!” He tilted his head, that smirk widening to reveal sharp canines that glinted like knives. “Oh, sweet Annabel. You know exactly who I am. You summoned me. Quite vividly, I might add. Dared me to come down and… what was it? ‘Eat your pussy like I mean it’? ‘Bend you over and make you scream’?” I stared, then burst out laughing—drunken, disbelieving hysteria. “The Devil? With horns? You? You’re way too handsome to be the Devil. You look like some cosplay model from a bad porno. This is a hallucination. I’m wasted.”

She turned back to her desk—and froze. In the black glass of the window next to her, her reflection was… something else. It was her, but twisted. Hollow-eyed. Skin cracked like old porcelain. A demonic grin stretching across her face, fanged and unnatural. The light above flickered violently. Her screen dimmed, then flared white. She sat back down, breath catching in her throat. the music continued, and I sang along. I was called a psychopath by most people, and I don't dispute it. Another scream echoed, and I took a deep breath. It gave me a different type of feeling. I want to savor his screen. He is having a cigarette burn on his skin and face. I dropped the cigarette stick on the ground and stamped it. “That's enough,” I say, walking towards them. He had stains of blood on his face. His fingers were smashed, and blood dripped from them. I inhaled the metallic smell sharply.
