Instead of the hollow sound of wood, I hear a soft click. A compartment opens. Inside lies a black notebook. Untitled, unmarked, just the initials V.M. etched in fading ink. Vittorio Moretti. I open it slowly. No dates. No numbers. Just a list of names, some crossed out, some circled. And beside one name, scrawled in darker ink, two words that make my stomach tighten: Blood Pact. I stare at it, my pulse steady but my hands clenched. Blood Pact. The term my father used for alliances sealed by death, promises that only ended when one party was buried.

This is forever. “Here lies Lucian D’Argento—devil to the world, but a man who loved enough to conquer death.” [TOPE]

"You gave her that money willingly. Last I checked, you were practically celebrating. So happy about this." "Things changed." She changed them. "She's in my territory now, Dmitri. That's all that matters." A beat of silence. Then — "The devil is coming down to hell, gentlemen." His voice dropped away from the phone as he announced it to the room. "Brace yourselves." I ended the call. Good mood. Excellent, in fact. Time to let the beast out.

Anything. A tongue formed out of the Black Devil's signature auric sand and licked behind Spitfire's ear before it spoke with a mouthless whisper. "Or do you wish to know what you fear is happening to the other one isn't creative enough? Because I know evil and it can be quite creative."

The man informed to his boss right on the time. The man on the other side just let out a chuckle which didn't fail to give chills to the people beside him. It was scary, his laugh! It was more scary than a viper. No wonder they call him HADES!, The Devil. "Hmm, she's missing? Right when I'm finding her, Interesting! Very interesting!" his smirk widened as he leaned against his chair majestically after hanging up the phone. "Please, Spare me. I'm sorry I wouldn't try to spy on you again. I wouldn't even live in this country anymore. Please I beg you."

I found Mel passed out the steps one night, the other morning she had teeth marks on her wrist, I think the devils' lare is an actual lare, it's a fucking den,” I snarled, “I knew the name of that place was odd,” “But it doesn't make sense, why would Lucifer agree to such terms, he wasn't all innocent, I must agree, but I know him, and I know he wouldn't agree to this knowing what was really going on,”

I had an ominous feeling as soon as I heard that eerie tune I had reserved for the secret phone I used to communicate with The Viper. It wasn’t just the fact that The Viper couldn’t be calling me at random that gave me the chill. It was the knowledge that I had been sloppy enough to not turn the phone off after the last call.

I whisper in fear. Tsking, and biting his lip, he shakes his head. “Oh, no. Don’t think of it like that,” he says sweetly, his nefarious smile shifting to sweet and beautiful. “I’m just a fragment of dust of what you may term as the devil. So small and useless until I’m given instructions by my boss. In this case, Mr. Memphis, otherwise known as Devlin, and the water of power he pours to me in form of instructions, stirs my little particles into a pile of mud and I get my power from him. But for now, I’m nothing more than a human just like you and everyone else in your little world.”

Vimar and Brage sink into the grass, while Indra manages to stay upright. "Your friends aren't as strong as you are. You're interesting, little girl. Who are you?" Indra raises her chin, looks defiantly into the fairy queen’s bottomless black eyes and replies in a strong voice: "I am Indra, the Devil's Daughter." Melia's backing away. Her companions make hissing noises and the ashen fog retreats several meters revealing blossoming wildflowers underneath. Melia raises a hand and the fog stops. Then she turns back to Indra and studies her from top to bottom. "I didn't know Lucifer had a daughter..."

You can’t even take a single hit. “Now, now, Derrick. Don’t leave me so quickly. The fun has just started and you don’t want me to get bored now, do you?” I whistled and my eyes glowed red under the darkness.
