Trembling with fear, the young person took a breath and said: “My mother told me that there are angels, but I didn't want to hear, I didn't want to hear… Now I'm being punished by God for my sins. Jesus sends you, Angel Azrael, Angel of Death Azrael, to punish me as a sinner… ”The rest of the senseless babbling was lost in the deep sobs of the madman and he clapped his hands over his face, crying. “Cristiano, please! Give us your coordinates. Reinforcements are on their way to you, ”the device tried again.

I heard the shower running and made my way there. “Can you believe that bastard?!” I almost shouted. Cara let out a scream as I barged in. I ignored her and sat on the toilet lid. “Could you at least knock?! What if I was shaving?” “Sorry. Back to my problem.” I said dismissively, and she poked her head out of the shower to look at me. “I talked to the Devil.” “What Devil?” “That Devil, Damiano.” “Ah. Why? Miss him?” She winked, but I only scowled.

LIAM Devon had come back, but he had flown in. Flown in by a female Nephilim, they had quite literally flown under the radar. Of course, I almost shot her down as I saw them quickly fly over the wall, unable to make out Devon’s small form, thankfully he had shouted at me. She had dropped him quickly and then fled back over the wall and vanished. Before I throttled my friend to high heaven as to what the actual fuck he was doing having a Nephilim fly his scrawny ass around I listened to what he had to say. He also handed me a letter from Verity. The contents of it, and what Devon had to say were alarming. If this was true, if the angels were really divided into factions, and one working with

Dante was kind of busy elsewhere, so he was of little help at the moment. “There are many traits and powers associated with our kind. Angels are not the cute little cherubs of pop culture. They are fierce warriors. We are derived from their blood and the blood of Demi-Gods. It gives us powerful healing abilities as well as being able to cast protection cloaks over non-Celestials. We are faster and stronger than many species. Those of royal Celestial bloodlines inherit traits pertaining to that bloodline. The Devusia bloodline, which is mine, is known for our battle planning and strategies. It is the precise reason the Devusia bloodline has been eradicated save me and my daughter.”

A dark tall masculine figure appeared. When I thought I'll have no companion for the rest of my life, he came. I don't who sent him here. I don't know how he found his way to me. I don't know why he came. But I knew one thing he came for me. He came to this graveyard to find me. The devil came to find his girlfriend. People say when the almighty puts you in the darkness he doesn't forget to send sunshine. The devil to the world was my sunshine. He was light to my darkness. Warmth to my cold.

The Earl shrieked in wonder, "You call her a maiden! She is no maiden. She's a thief! A mercenary, unbelievable thief!" He continued barking while he walked backwards away from them, "She handed her drink to the Earl of Vetcom, said things too daring for any normal Scottish woman and stole food. You would not call such person a mai…" He found himself staggering suddenly, noticing he was just at the edge of a ditch, one he didn't notice because he was too busy shouting. While he found himself falling into it, a hand quickly gripped around his hard and tight. Gently, that same hand pulled him up, straight back to his balance. And it was the devil herself.

”Nice flowers.” Wendy commended as soon as Rebecca entered the room. Rebecca on the other hand didn’t pay attention to what was said. She was lost in a world of her own thought. She didn’t see the face of the biker, but from the sound of his voice, she could tell who it was. It was a voice she would recognize anytime, any day. The voice of the devil who haunts her in her dream. A pat on the shoulder brought her back to reality. She jerked and the flower slipped from her hands, but Wendy caught it before it could fall to the floor.

One to death and the other to a deadly Mafia boss. “Everything is going to be okay,” I cried. “Everything is going to be fine, Mama.”

This is forever. “Here lies Lucian D’Argento—devil to the world, but a man who loved enough to conquer death.” [TOPE]

“Oh, what a little angel…” “She looks like her mother,” the man smiled. “She’s got his nose,” the woman added quickly. Zayden chuckled. “That’s trouble, then.” Hema laughed lightly, and the moment felt like a gentle breeze on a warm day. The woman looked at Hema. “Did you name her yet?” Hema shook her head. “Not yet. We wanted to wait until we left the hospital.” Zayden tilted his head thoughtfully, then looked at the couple. “Actually,” he said, “if you don’t mind… would you like to name her?”
