I can see the question made Devon uneasy and said "I'm coping...to be honest it's hard. I keep seeing her everywhere, even in my dreams. I am so sorry about what happened between us. If only I could take it all back. I was just so scared. What we had was too real and we were so young..." He said, his voice almost a whisper. He doesn't want Cassidy to hear him I thought. What he said pinched my heart if it does exist. He still loves me and that just made me all the more determined to get back to Cassidy's body.

The creaking of the giant double doors sent a wave of fear through the chained-up man and gestured that it was a sign for him to stop what he was doing, but the fear quickly morphed into a burning rage. The doors swung open, revealing a man whose body is chiseled to perfection. His dark suit wrapped around his body, his green eyes devoid of emotion as he surveyed the scene. This was Lucien Belucci, the man known as the Devil’s Incarnate, the most infamous name in the mafia world dubbed devil’s incarnate for being cold, merciless, and having no regard for life. “I knew you’d betray me. Bastardo!” the chained-up man snarled in a thick Italian accent, the veins in his neck standing out in rage.

Angelica Fergus must have made a deal with the devil and refused to fulfill his end of the deal. The world was certainly against him. It wasn’t usually easy to spot a Bratva boss and find a way to get close to them but Yakov was different. He hated Fergus so much but although Curtis was the latter’s son, Yakov frequented Inferno. I shook my head and “Come back” I answered. “How about you?” I asked “Last year” He answered and he threw his cigarette on the ground and he stepped on it and then he picked a piece of rolled paper like a cigarette inside his pocket and lit it again and smoked it. It smells like a dried, burning leaf or grass I cannot distinguish. “What is your name?” I asked “Devon… Devon David” He answered and coughed hard and his eyes turned red.

Without giving a thought to the consequences of my actions, I slip from Mason's protective shadow and stand on my own, leaning against the table. My gaze meets the newcomer's, and the cheery introduction on my lips die a quick death. And Vanessa said Damon is "absurdly handsome." Devon is good-looking in an…uncanny way. His moss green eyes and honey blonde hair, coupled with his perfectly symmetrical face, gives him the appearance of a beautiful devil. He isn't as muscled as Mason and Damon, but his lean frame looks sexy as hell in leather boots, a stylish trench coat, pristine white shirt and dark slacks.
