The Secret Moonbird, Hellblades Series Part 2 of 3

The Secret Moonbird, Hellblades Series Part 2 of 3

Her voice softened at the end so tenderly. “You are?” I said weakly. Everything blurred at the edges. It all felt like a fever dream. Sophia’s voice dropped to a whisper. “Just say the word… ‘I do,’ and it can all be yours. If you sell your soul to me in exchange for this, it can be.” I laughed, the sound coming out sharper than I expected. “My soul? Souls aren’t for sale. How can you own my soul?” Sophia’s voice softened, almost coaxing. “It’s like a contract… and when it expires, you’re mine…”

Sold to the Disfigured Billionaire

Sold to the Disfigured Billionaire

And she had sold it to save a broken man. "You sold your marriage," Sebastian said, his voice breaking. "No," Harper leaned forward. She touched his cheek. "I sold a contract." "The marriage..." she kissed his forehead. "...is right here. In this room. Alive." Sebastian closed his eyes. A single tear leaked out. He didn't say thank you. Thank you was too small. He opened his eyes. The golden fire was back. Duller, perhaps, but steady. "Dr. Braun," Sebastian called out.

He was quiet at first, after which he brought out the treasure box. “You have the treasure box!” I exclaimed in shock, even if he had earlier informed me. He nodded in affirmation and swayed it playfully for a while. “This will be our saving grace. The minute we sell this off, we would use the money to do anything we wish. The first thing though would be flying out of the country and getting married. My eyes darted to my stomach and gulped down hard. It would have been better to have this child together with his father. But then, it seemed as if fate was totally against that.

He said and hung up the phone. Alexander thinks that he is the only one who has tricks but I have a few tricks of my own, I know that he is not going to see this coming which is exactly what I want. I want him to wake up one morning and find out that I am gone, that he can't find me. Then I spent the next few days getting my affairs in order. I started with my money, I made it available for me. Then I called Isabella and sold her my part of the business.

she said. Shawna also paused for a few seconds before answering her. "Your father, he sold me to a sex house after losing a huge amount of bet. He decided to replace the money by selling me" Shawna answered. "What??" Tina found herself shrieking. "Father did that??" She asked.

Mark asked quietly. “Why not?” Dante replied without looking at him. “She’s beautiful. Spirited. Stubborn. And she was sold to me. I don’t waste things I’ve paid for.” Mark’s stomach turned. “You think that’s all she is? Something to be used?” Dante met his eyes, and in that gaze, Mark saw the terrifying calm of a man who had never known powerlessness. “You think your guilt entitles you to a clean ending, Mark? You sold your soul the moment you let your wife hand that girl over to me. All you can do now is pray you can afford the price of redemption.”

he replied with determination in hope of getting a promotion or something. “Any?” Daniel’s eyes followed the motion of the oval-shaped paperweight as he spun it on the table. “Yes, sir,” Michael affirmed. “Very well. Now tell me Michael Can you sell your soul for millions?” Daniel pushed further. His eyes searching Michael’s. “Millions?” lips parted in shock. “How about I offer you ten million in exchange for something you have, Michael. Would you accept the trade?” Daniel asked calmly. His hands are still playing with the paperweight.

I really love this story, everyone should try to read it, a very good plot. I just thought that in the end they would have adopt Elisa, because one of the dreams of Ash was to adopt a child. And I guess Dan never new about the friendship of his aunt with Ash, and Ash never new she was Dan's relative

This is the best book I’ve read on Good novel App. Story revolves around the main characters and it’s not over exaggerated. Something common girl can relate to. There are a few grammatical errors but that can be overlooked as the story is great.

My Ex Sold Me To The Devil

My Ex Sold Me To The Devil

The King’s vanguard? A slow, arrogant smirk pulled at the corner of my mouth. I picked my whiskey glass back up, leaning casually into the high back of my leather chair. "I didn't provoke him," I said, taking a slow sip. "In fact, I did business with him. He passed through the Frostbane square this afternoon during the Slave Trade." My father didn't blink. "And?" "And he made a fool of himself," I scoffed, waving my hand dismissively. "He filed a mate-claim on a piece of Frostbane trash. I sold him my ex-wife for a chest of gold, and he rode off with her."

Wanting Her Back (Her Alpha Triplet Mates)

“Answer my question. Where. Have. You. Been?” He sighed, running a hand through his hair. “It’s a long story,” he began, his voice heavy with weariness. “But the short version? Our father sold me off to his business partners who decided to punish me by making me break all my principles simply because we had done one good thing, and left Axel to die in this hospital.”

TEMPORARY MATES, PERMANENT CRAVINGS

TEMPORARY MATES, PERMANENT CRAVINGS

“I’m serious. You’re already selling your body. You might as well get paid properly. Make him pay every time he can’t keep his hands off you outside the schedule.” “That’s insane.” “That’s business.” She laughed. “Come on, Lisa. You’ve already sold your dignity. Might as well make bank.” The words should have offended me. They didn’t. Because she wasn’t wrong. I had sold my body. What was one more transaction? We talked a little longer before hanging up. I sat on my bed afterward, staring at my phone while Sasha’s words replayed in my head. Don’t fall for him. Keep it transactional.

Great story from book 1 to book 2, hoping for a sequence the after married life of wesley and isabella with their pup and maverick being the old brother. Loved to see also the story of charlie and emma, and maybe an exciting and unexpected love story of annita with the king rouge
mysticmoonglow33
Dear Luxie... Do you think when Emma’s story is over you can write another one with all the families and friends gathered together in an island somewhere alone just being happy with their children and grandchildren reminiscing when they all came together? Maybe even bring back Sasha and Cora.
