This was why Diego didn’t want everyone to know about his brother’s situation. After reaching Augusto’s study, Diego regretted reacting without getting his facts right. He didn’t expect to be ambushed by one Dahlia Mulla, his ex-fiancee who had come back from the dead. Dahlia wrapped her arms around Diego and pressed her naked body against his, saying seductively, “Diego… don’t you miss me? Don’t you miss this? Us fucking in your father’s study while he trained his recruits in the backyard?” A wave of disgust washed over Diego, churning his stomach violently. He pushed Dahlia away and she hit her back against Augusto's desk with so much force that her eyes watered with tears.

The two of us share the same cause, and you know that very well.” Diego said, looking at his mother whose eyes were wide at her son’s statement. She shook her head, refusing to hear her son out, not wanting to listen to what he was going to tell her.

“Aiden, water board this miserable bastard.” After another hour of torture, Diego is barely holding on. He looks like a shell of what he used to be. He’s unrecognizable. I don’t give a fuck though. I plan to finish him off and the time has now come. I unstrap his arms and step back.

Isabella's POV Diego spoke up, his voice calm and steady. "I might know someone who can help us." Daniel and I turned to him, both curious and skeptical. "Who?" Daniel asked. Diego hesitated for a moment before replying, "His name is Victor. He's an expert in digital forensics and has helped me out in the past." I furrowed my brow in confusion. "What does digital forensics have to do with this?" I asked.

"I'm Diego. Sorry I didn't introduce myself properly”. Diego offered a handshake, a gesture of courtesy, and Freya, still reeling from her recent misfortune, hesitated briefly before extending her hand, her fingers meeting his in a cautious grasp. “Can I get your name as well, hope you don't mind?” Freya regarded the strange man called Diego with utmost curiosity aiming at getting a clue on what he was all about. His jet-black longish hair and gray eyes, accompanied by his strong jawline, blended excellently well, working hand in hand to give him a majestic and handsome appearance.

So it was decided, Daisy planned to take her kids and meet with Diego. As they were all ready to leave, Dahlia received a call from an unknown number. Dahlia hesitated at first, but later on, she answered the call. “Hello?”. “Dahlia, it's your old man”. Dahlia’s eyes widened in disbelief after she heard Diego's voice. “Father!”. She exclaimed out of excitement before she added, “You scared me father, after you didn't reply to me in our other call”.

He knew David had an evil plan and was heading to Croatia for a transaction. Diego plans his move, catching and killing David on board. He then hid the corpse in the ship's basement chiller inside the freezer and locked it. Diego then contacted his best friend, buddy, and superior, Drake Del Fiore, for the mission, and he was done for the day. But it was too bad because Diego could no longer return as the cargo ship had already departed. It was far from the port, and he had no choice now but to wait until the cargo ship arrived at its destination.

The Don was watching the news about the explosion, when Dora entered crying, he turned off the tv “You know I don't like to see people crying especially you and it has come to my attention that you have been doing this a lot these days despite my many lessons about it” Dora almost rolled her eyes, so father like of him to say something like that when he should be worried about why she was crying. She cleaned her face clean “Am sorry father but I can't contain my emotions. I think Colly is Dead” Dora tried to look as upset as she could but the Don laughed so hard he almost fell from his seat

Diego rose from his seat, approaching me and deftly fastening a corsage around my right wrist. Much like Ruth, Diego had assumed the role of a father figure in my life, filling a void I had longed for.
