THE BILLIONAIRE’S SECOND CHANCE BETRAYAL

THE BILLIONAIRE’S SECOND CHANCE BETRAYAL

The thirty years that he had not aged were catching up to him fast. June cried "Dad!" She tried to open the glass door. Benson looked at her one time. He did not use the mind-link. He moved his lips to say one word. He said "Run." The floor of the basement suddenly dropped down. The Investors were not going to let the harvester go. They made a gravity well. The whole hospital was being pulled into the earth. It was falling into a hole where the center of the earth was melting. June grabbed her mothers hand. They jumped for the service tunnel just as the basement fell apart.

His Rejected Mate's Secret

His Rejected Mate's Secret

It meant distance had stopped being measurable. Something cracked nearby. Delph spun instantly, blade out. But there was nothing to strike. Just a fragment of terrain collapsing inward and vanishing mid-air. He exhaled sharply. “This isn’t a battlefield,” he muttered. It was dissolution. Everything was dissolving. Even time felt fractured. He tightened his grip. And kept moving. Because stopping meant being swallowed. POV: THE TWINS The twins stood in the only stable point left between collapsing layers. But even that stability was fading.

The Lycan's Unexpected Alpha

The Lycan's Unexpected Alpha

Jerking, I looked around in the dark, unable to really see except the faint outline of figures. "Oh thank the goddess." I huffed. "We need to move." As if to prove his point, the roof above us exploded. "THIA!" The twins yelled, just as the floor beneath my feet caved. I had just enough time to fix my gaze with Ashton's horrified one before I was plummeting to the ground below. Looking around, I tried to find something, anything, to grab, but the area that whizzed past me was empty. Realizing I needed to protect my stomach at all costs. I stuck my feet straight out and braced myself.

I loved the first book of the trilogy and the second doesn’t miss the mark! Original, full of action, the rythme is perfect, love story with a little hard time, but not to much! I read both twice now and still really liked them.

Emperor Shadow

Emperor Shadow

Hisoka raised the thread of river flow. The thread looked like it was inside the invisible hose that was controlled by the gardener. A few fishes swam energetically while experiencing an extraordinary view. Gruuuu~ The ground was breaking as Sleepy increased the level of gravity. “Hah~” Black Shadow sighed. “You can’t–” “Ugh~!” Bluek! Black Shadow’s flinched as his face turned white as paper. The sound of painful moaning and suppressed breath registered inside his brain. Slowly, he shifted his attention to the twins.

Marked From Birth

Marked From Birth

The "Grand-Harvester" did not descend with the roar of engines, but with a terrifying, absolute silence that swallowed the ambient light of the stars. It was a structure of impossible geometry—a trillion interlocking obsidian teeth that formed a funnel miles wide, descending toward the lunar debris field like the throat of a celestial predator. As it drew closer, the gravity within the funnel began to "De-Laminate." Up was no longer toward the stars; up was into the mouth of the machine.

The Bear's Revenge

The hum changed pitch. And the pull twisted— not outward, but downward. Ronan’s stomach lurched as the floor beneath them shifted. Stone split with a deafening crack. Kiera screamed silently as gravity gave way— and the chamber opened beneath their feet, swallowing them whole.

Twinned lies

Twinned lies

“Isa?” Isadora’s lips quirked into a grin—wry, familiar, the grin of a woman who had danced on the edge of fire and returned with ashes still clinging to her. “Miss me, sorellina?” The twins collided in an embrace, arms wrapping tight, tears spilling freely as they clung to each other. Emilia buried her face against Isadora’s shoulder, her body trembling with the force of her relief. “I thought I’d lost you,” Emilia whispered, her voice breaking.

The Twins’ Grave

The Twins’ Grave

With my own hands, I carved Lucia’s and my name on wooden stakes. “Here rests Lucia and Talia Wilkin.” As of now, Lucia and I were no longer tied to the Luther Pack. There was no place for the Hems brothers in our grave. By the time I was done, my health had declined rapidly. I crawled into the excavated pit with great effort and cradled my sister’s urn in a fetal position. With the moist soil offering me some solace, I closed my eyes.

The Damned Alpha

But as they attempted to take a step further, the ground underneath them crumbled apart, sending them tumbling into the void. For a brief minute, they were weightless, suspended within the obscurity with nothing to hold on to. The abyss surged around them, a pernicious drive that intended to drag them more profound into its profundity. But just as it appeared they would be lost until the end of time, they landed hard on a strong surface.

The Habitat of Shamans

The Habitat of Shamans

At this time they were spaced around the disc regularly in every direction. "Ready, Go." They were getting ready to climb at a moment’s notice, they would like to go together since pressure must be uniformly distributed over the whole surface, and as soon as Joy yelled they started to go up the disc. The quiet disc developed a wobble, as the disc continued to dip and sway, Joy and Sunshine lost their balance and fell off. In this case the first attempt ultimately ended in failure.
