How Can I Get Rid of That Scandal?

How Can I Get Rid of That Scandal?

"Is there truly something wrong with your legs?" "Fiona, what are you talking about? Joanna is paralyzed. Are you insulting the disabled?" Quinton waved his hand. "There are so many disabled patients here. Do you discriminate against each of them? When patients come to you for treatment, will you ask every one of them if they are really disabled?" I was speechless. "When did I say I discriminate against the disabled?" Quinton opened his mouth to say something, but the crowd had already started talking among themselves. "The doctor didn't say anything about discrimination against the disabled. Is this man really her husband? Why does he treat her like an enemy?"

At Arm's length

At Arm's length

I think I've said enough, he will explain better to you. And one more thing, stop keeping him at arm's length. Don't push him into the wrong hands. I love you baby........ Always remember it's not a disability it's a specialty "I love you too mum." I whispered. As I covered my mouth with my hands as everything dawned on me.

Ikechukwu Williams
One of the most refreshing and heartwarming novels I've read. A real page turner, full of wit and humour, with very relatable characters. It successfully makes a captivating yet realistic depiction of young love within a modern Nigerian society.
Illustrious Joy
An inciting read with spurs of savory romance, humour and subtle wit. I so much love the bond between Adesewa and Kenechukwu. The writer's pen keeps brewing scintillating scenes about them that it leaves me with an insatiable urge for more chapters. Big ups to you dearie❤

I REPAY MY HUSBAND'S BETRAYAL

I REPAY MY HUSBAND'S BETRAYAL

In fact, I feel lucky to be able to escape from the clutches of a guy like him, Hendi. “Oh, it's really outrageous. It's useless that so many people are voicing how women are doing in many ways. I don't need much more to say about this, do I?” Gadis nodded in agreement. “And what makes me feel the most is how low she set the bar. She said that no man would want to be with me because I was disabled.” Gadis smiled sadly. “Yes, I am disabled, but I don't want this disability to limit me. I believe that someday a prince will come along who is much better than him.”

One night with my brother inlaw

I didn’t know know when a hug smile fall on my face, i was really greatfull for the extra time I was 16 when I came across a quote *Every mile you run is a quiet conversation between your pain and your strength—one where healing slowly learns to speak.” I didn’t understand the meaning not I lost my parents and I was so desperate to heal, then this quote made more sense and ever since then, running has been my life line.

My Mate.....The Nerd

My Mate.....The Nerd

I asked and he smiled turning to face me before taking my hand in his and giving it soft squeeze. "Absolutely," he said and I smiled, "if you could see yourself through my eyes you'd see just how amazing you are. You're a beautiful person inside and out, baby, and I'm beyond proud to be your mama. Don't let people tell you that you can't do things because of your disability because you're a unique young man with a heart of gold." I swallowed the lump in my throat at his words, "you're special, sweetie and nothing can ever change that. So yes, when the time comes for you and AJ to start your own family, I know you will be the most amazing mama I know."

Mr CEO Is My Baby's Daddy

Mr CEO Is My Baby's Daddy

Anderson uttered sarcastically. "Is this better?" "Can you not frown like that at me? It makes my skin hair rise." "What do you--" Anderson exhaled sharply, "I'll just keep no expression then." "Great. Now, what the hell do you want?" He hushed. "Uh, I heard you we're going to press charges against me for some reason-- "Really? Some reason? Did you just say for some reason? Whose fault is it that I'm disabled? I'm in this fucking wheelchair because of you--

Enjoyed the different twists and turns in the story. Loved the fight between Katherine and Shania. Felt sorry for Renard getting shot near the end by crazy Suzy. Happy how things worked out for Katherine and Anderson. Glad Jude found someone who loved him after Hope.

My Two-Faced Mom

My Two-Faced Mom

I grew anxious and gently reassured them, “Don’t be afraid. Just tell the truth. “There are so many police officers here. My mom wouldn’t dare do anything to you!” The livestream comments echoed in support. [They’ve been abused for so long, they don’t even dare to resist anymore. I feel sorry for them.] [It’s okay, just speak up. We’re all behind you.] After a long silence, the disabled people slowly spoke. “Mrs. Field… is a good person!” “She funded us and gave us job opportunities!” “We… we’re all very grateful to her!” A smug smile appeared on Mom’s lips. Hearing their words, Dad and I froze, and Dad quickly questioned them.

Blind Billionaire Bride

Blind Billionaire Bride

Ria explained. "Oh! She taught everything!” Cassidy commented. "Yes she did..and I just had to learn because I wanted to be useful to myself. My mom would always say being disabled is not an excuse for me to be failure. It only means that you can't say because you are disabled then you won't make something good in life or thrive to achieve your set dreams. I worked on myself and learned a lot of things with the help of my parents.” Ria swallowed the lump that was starting to form in her throat.

The Pure-Hearted Princess and the Kiss of Darkness

The Pure-Hearted Princess and the Kiss of Darkness

How powerful is he? “Are you going to stare all day? This isn’t a circus.” My heart constricts at his words, and I shake my head. “No, it’s not that – I… Having a disability never makes a person beneath anyone or any less capable. My mother has a disability, but it does not stop her from being the most incredible woman ever. I admire her, and I can also see that you too are a great Alpha.” He cocks a brow, scoffing contemptuously as he opens his drawer and takes out a cigarette, deftly placing it between those gorgeous lips of his, and flicking the lighter as he lights his cigarette.

This one holds a Special place in my Heart. Perhaps because I followed the MFC & MMC from childhood but their story is one to make you feel all forms of Emotions (Good, Bad and in between) till the end of the story. I didn't want the story to end just like all this Amazing Author's other works!
Katrien
I reread the book as it is completed and I have to say this story is even more enthralling then reading it while ongoing. I love this book , ever since King Alejandro, the return of her cold hearted Alpha, with Enrique and Kataleya being kids , I wanted to read this story! And it did not disappoint!

Twist of Fate

Twist of Fate

He flinched back. "Even though my son is disabled, does he mean he'll not be successful. Why do we humans look down upon those who are disabled? They have feelings and emotion. They can sympathize, empathize. They have blood running through their stream. Why!. Why can't we take them for who they are? Just because they are disabled doesn't mean they can't feel. Yeah!, I know my son is stuttering but nobody knows whether you'll be the one in his position" my body shook while sobbing.
