Echo's of a witches past

Echo's of a witches past

Something about then rang to her as untrustworthy. The witch trials were murder hidden in lies. The witch trials were still running hidden underground in the old church tunnels. It was not that this was common knowledge, but Marie had lost her family to the continuing trials. Her mother, her sisters, and her late husband. Warlocks did not get accused of crimes of witchcraft like the witches did. Warlocks often survived but Maries husband Johnas took her place as an accused to save her and their unborn child.

Blood and Moon: Araya

Blood and Moon: Araya

The sticky note was in English as if it had been translated, so I read it. “The Zoldeck name grew to notoriety in the late 1600s. Not much is known about them before the events of Shadow Hill. On the eve of October 14th, 1685, a young woman named Margery Holbrook was burned at the stake, having been falsely accused of witchcraft. She was the close friend of Augusta Zoldeck, the leader of the Zoldeck coven, but knew nothing about Augusta’s identity of being a witch. At this time, the Zoldecks were a small coven practicing in good and nature magic under the cover of healing herbs and protection wards and were well-received by their neighbors. They strove for peace, tranquility and protecting t

Destined By The Moon Goddess

Destined By The Moon Goddess

And the first step to achieving that was just to solve one of the witches mysteries and get promoted to a senior witch; the position came with a broom for flying and the Ingrid spell book. The witches' mysteries were definitely far from being easy. These mysteries consisted of things that were yet to be known, solving unexplainable puzzles and explaining certain causes of some events such as finding out what was at the depth of the Bermuda triangle, or determining the cause of the blood rain, or giving a specific time frame or a cause of the blood moon, or finding out the durations of total solar eclipse.

Loved (Book #2 in the Vampire Journals)

Caitlin began to read, and was so taken by it, she decided to read it aloud to Caleb. “Listen to this,” she said. “‘In Salem, in 1692, a large group of teenage girls suddenly fell ill. Most of them lapsed into a fit of hysteria, and screamed out that they had been attacked by witches. Many of these girls went so far as to name the witches who were afflicting them. “Because their illnesses were so mysterious, and because many of these girls died suddenly and there was no other explanation for it, the townspeople fell into a frenzy. They hunted down the people accused of witchcraft.

Twin Alphas' Celestial Luna

Twin Alphas' Celestial Luna

For the first time in history, my kind was being hunted. The humans terrified themselves with campfire stories of monsters who would hunt them and their children and suck their souls from their necks. It was like the witch trials all over again, only without the farcical trials and ridiculous displays of the dunking chair and other such idiocies. The ordeal of the cold water, that is what the most common practice of determining whether a woman was a witch or not, became known as. My people were afforded no such thing. Times had moved forward, or perhaps sideways would be more apt.

Absolutely amazing! I loved both books! The main story arc is very impressive. I love that I can feel the emotions of the characters as I read these books. The best part about this book is how interconnected the characters are to one another. I would definitely recommend both books!!

This book (and the first as well) is awesome!! The author really takes time to develop her characters and story and follows through with all the different story arcs and twists and turns! But, what is the third book in this trilogy?? Am I missing something, or is it not published yet?

His reluctant Luna

Sullivan was right, but if people were ready to kill over it, then there must have been some truth in it, and I couldn't shake the feeling that it somehow concerned me. "Is there more to this? Why were the parts of it lost?" "We are talking about 17th century Europe. It was a dark age. Witches were being hunted and burned. Wolves packs were still pretty wild back then. Most of them couldn't read or write, so the legends and prophecies were passed down orally, which led to several inaccuracies. Furthermore, numerous old lineages of witches and wolves were decimated or lost. So, we don't know which line of witches the prophecy is talking about. "

I loved this book. Just wanted to see them have babies and see where that would take the story. She's a powerful wolf so I assume someone else is gonna want to get her or have pups with her. Waiting for a follow up.

How is this book completed here with 60 something chapters, when it’s on another app with 100 something chapters and says it’s completed there? Yet if you go to the comments on there you find out that there’s actually 10 chapters left off. No I’ve not read this book, just asking a question.

Love's Inferno: When Fire Meets Ice

Love's Inferno: When Fire Meets Ice

"Once upon a time, back in the olden days, witches dwelled harmoniously amongst humans, practicing magic that was beneficial to both kinds. It was all peaceful and serene until a few humans began to feel envious of the recognition the witches received. To quell the witches' significance, they spread horrible lies that they were to blame for the famine and drought that befell the land. They made the people believe the only way to stop the starvation was to kill all witches. And hence, the great witch hunt began. . ." As Nora conveyed the story to the kids, the other members were busy manipulating the lighting and sounds for dramatic effects. Nora's tone climaxed to match the pensive soundtrac

The writing was good. Interesting twists in the story. However, I got irritated when Doris was being immature. Love how 8 years old Nora and 4 years old Max acted and spoke mature. Hated that the transition between events was not always smooth and the wrong gender was used often. Nice, happy ending.

FEMALE APHA'S STOLEN BIRTHRIGHT

FEMALE APHA'S STOLEN BIRTHRIGHT

in that part of Spain, kept them supplied with what they needed. One dadsy a tinker came to our door with Mari; she was eight or nine years old. From what we gleaned later, Mariposa’s mother had only just enough power to protect her youngest dadsughter from the attack of another clan of witches. Her parents, grandparents, brothers, sisters, and all were dead—and her mother, too. The tinker found the little girl wandering by the burnt remnants of her house and thought my wife would take her in, as he knew that my wife had done considerable trade with that family.” He sighed and turned away, looking out over the narrow, dadsrk valley below them. “That was a bad time for all of us in Europe.
