It holds every spell, curse, potion or summons that the Owens witches knew.” Ivy looked at the page then back at her aunt her eyes narrowed. “Owens? But you, Lucile and mum are all Joneses. Why is Owens so important?” She asked with irritation. Standing back from the book and her aunt. Ivy folded her arms across her chest. Watching her aunts face carefully watching her expressions, assessing everything her aunt did from now on.

I had to find out what the fuck was really going on for myself. I did eventually find quite a bit of information about the so-called Zoldeck coven. My main source so far came from an ancient looking book one of the staff members directed me to when I told them I was looking for info on witches. The cover was brown and wrinkly and had some type of spiral symbol with three swirly things connected to each other. There was writing on the front, but it was in a language I didn’t recognize. It felt like dried up leather and the pages were so stiff I thought they would crumble between my fingers.

I whisper, unsure if she can hear me in her unconscious state. I take the book from her arms and open it. I skim through it, anger boiling in me as I read it’s entries. There were large leather-bound books, most of which looked shabby due to dust or old age. An old gold-bound book with foliage ornaments was located on the topmost bookshelf. It looked the thickest of all the books there. I was curious and looked at the contents. This book explains everything about witches, from rituals to how to fight with them. It was probably written by our predecessors. But some of the pages at the back talked about potions from plants as well as treatment steps using magic spells. I guess it's more similar to the rituals of white witches. I closed it and put it back on the shelf. Then I heard
