After eating, I walked over to the bag I had asked dad to bring. Inside is my mom’s old violin. I check it fast before I begin the play the Disney songs from beauty and the beast. The pups catch on to it right away and come over to sit down and listen. I continue to play, moving on to a song from Aladdin and the following three songs from the movie Frozen.

“Do you wanna hide from this guy?” The tune was familiar, and it only took me a moment to place it. It was from that famous Disney movie, the one with the woman who could freeze stuff. Elsa, that was her name. The movie was Frozen. The tune he was using was from the Uber popular song, “Do you wanna build a snowman?” He repeated the first line, then he added another. “Do you wanna hide from this guy? Or do you wanna talk it through? I’m sorry if….if I did something…to upset you.” He held the last note ‘you’, entirely off-key and for way too long. He sounded sort of like a dog howling.

I watched till the part where Mei-lei and four towns started to sing, "nobody like you" and I couldn't help the tears that threatened to flow as I listened to the lyrics. When they sang the part that said, "I'm never gonna let you cry, oh cry, oh cry. I'm always gonna be your ride, or die, or die," the water works started. With each words, tears flowed as I put a spoonful of ice cream in my mouth, blubbering the lyrics.
