Beyond His World

Beyond His World

"You still don't understand." The Heart split. Not physically. Its light divided into two halves. One remained with Liana. The other moved toward the crowned figure. The symbol of YES appeared on one side. The symbol of NO appeared on the other. Between them, the word FREEDOM remained. Liana realized what was happening. "You can't take the Heart." "I don't need to." The figure's smile widened. "I only need the half you refuse to use." Liana froze. The figure whispered:

His Accidental Mrs

His Accidental Mrs

“What if there’s nothing left after that?” “There will be,” she said. Her fingers brushed my jaw. “There’s us. There’s them. That’s the legacy , not the ledger, not the estate, not the name on the building. It’s Micah and Zaya, safe and whole. It’s whatever we build when no one’s left to tear it down.” I caught her hand and kissed her wrist — right over the soft pulse that said she was real, that all of this was real. “You’re the only thing I’ve ever done right,” I said, the words barely more than a hush.

Knight's Sacred Burden

Knight's Sacred Burden

And it was inside him now. Julian felt a sharp, searing pain in his own chest, and as he looked down at his hand, he saw the skin beginning to turn a dull, translucent grey. The obsidian was spreading. It was moving up his fingers, turning his veins into jagged, violet-lit lines. He looked at the statue of his friend, then at the empty void where his home had been, and he realized the final, cruel joke of the Council’s history. The Heart hadn't been destroyed. It had just found a new host. And he was the only one left to carry it.

Fractured Hearts: He Left Me, Now He Wants Me Back

Fractured Hearts: He Left Me, Now He Wants Me Back

“We need to leave. We have work to do.” Before we could apologize for not being able to stay, she smiled and said. “Go.” “Marilyn—” “Go.” Her eyes moved between us. “Do what you need to do.” Reluctantly, we agreed. A little later, we left the ward while Mrs. Voss remained behind with her daughter. Alexander and I walked through the corridor toward the hospital exit but halfway there, I stopped as the memory suddenly hit me. Alexander turned. “What is it?” My heart pounded as I stared at him then finally spoke. “There’s something I haven’t told you.”

Left Behind by My Alpha and Our Twins

Left Behind by My Alpha and Our Twins

Chris and Collin shouted in unison. I paused for a moment. A sigh escaped my lips. I squeezed out a bitter smile… but I didn’t look back. I disappeared from the hall, leaving behind their cries and broken hearts. End

I Left With My Daughter

I Left With My Daughter

When he left the club, it was raining outside. Rainwater slid down the car window in streaks. The New Yorke night looked fragmented into pieces. For some reason, he thought of something Cecilia had said a long time ago. She had said that what truly broke a home was never a single argument. It began when one person started to believe that the other would never leave. At the time, he did not take it seriously. But the words felt like a thin needle pressing into his chest. Even so, he refused to admit that he felt uneasy.

He Left Our Son Dying for the Son Who Was Never His

He Left Our Son Dying for the Son Who Was Never His

The next morning, Darcy stood in the private cemetery on the outskirts of the Thorne estate. Unlike the cold marble mausoleum Harry had desecrated in his madness, this grave was hidden beneath the weeping boughs of an ancient willow tree. The headstone was simple, white, and bore only one name: Leo. Darcy knelt on the damp earth, the hem of her silk dress disregarded. In her trembling hands, she held the the Lot 44 she had outbid a room full of millionaires to obtain. It was the last thing Leo had asked for before the world went dark.

Oops! I Left With The CEO's Heart

Oops! I Left With The CEO's Heart

I'd been sobbing, my heart completely shattered because I'd waited for three days for Alex to realize his mistake and come to ask for my forgiveness, but it never happened. For some reason, I couldn't bring myself to do it. Instead, I'd kept it in that compartment and left it behind when I went to Spain. I tried to pretend it didn't exist when I came back. But maybe, deep down, I could never get rid of it because my heart had always known what my mind refused to accept. Alex took my hand and gently lifted it to examine the bracelet. His thumb traced over the diamonds, and I saw his eyes grow bright with unshed tears.

The wife he left behind

The wife he left behind

he said softly, “the tree needs two more leaves.” He walked toward the bronze memorial standing quietly in the garden, Eleanor and Margaret following slowly behind him, and knelt down near the base, tracing the careful branches with his fingers until he found the right place, close enough to Grace’s name to make the connection clear, but distinct enough to hold its own space. “I think Eleanor goes here,” he said gently, “and Margaret goes just beside her. Not because you’re the same person. Because you found each other because of the same root.”

Gen YA
The storyline is good but I hope the author should refrain from so many redundant repetitive words, dialogues, side thoughts, actions of the characters, which are becoming an annoyance, tiresome to read further, just be direct with the story.
Araceli Rocio
Chapter 32 and I cannot stop. A very young boy deciding to find everyone the world forgot, it sounds simple until you’re actually reading it and realising how profound it is. Dave doesn’t feel like a fictional child. He feels completely real. And every chapter ends right, this book is amazing!!!

The Billionaire’s Unwanted Wife

The Billionaire’s Unwanted Wife

Though the truth is, I don’t know what being whole means, as I haven’t been whole for the last seven years. “That she left you doesn’t mean your heart will automatically stop beating for her. Think of it like a phantom limb. It’s no longer there, but the nerves don’t know that… so they keep sending out signals, hoping to contact it… and even after weeks of not getting a response. They keep trying until they are taught through therapy… that the limb was never going to come back and they simply have to learn to live without it.” Her final words were like daggers to my broken heart, and I had to desperately hold back my tears to avoid breaking down in front of her.
