Balance of Light and Shadow

Balance of Light and Shadow

"Yes, you should tell us. What coding system? Why do you have one?” Lewana takes a deep sigh and I instantly know I'm not going to like it. "She-wolves do our best to accept mate marks based on the circumstance of the mating. Loving chosen marks are on the right side with the top fangs at the back to show you were looking at your mate and chose to be marked there. If the mate accepts you as his equal and wants to show commitment, the she-wolf bites the same way to link the bond. This is what Ewan's parents have".

CAGED BY MY ALPHA

CAGED BY MY ALPHA

I asked. "I mean, most wolves, especially Alphas after they find their mates, mark them almost immediately. Even if they don't mark them, they claim them so when other male wolves move closer to them, they will be able to smell their Alpha on her. You on the other hand haven't marked your mate and you haven't claimed her and neither are you even interested in her. Are we sure this girl is your mate?" He asked again. "Watch your mouth, Carter," Gabriel commanded.

"You are lying," I said, but doubt was already creeping in. Because why would he lie about something so easily disproven? "Mate marks do not just appear after years of knowing someone. They appear when wolves first recognize each other. If Leina and I were true mates, the mark would have shown up when we were children."

The War of the Royals: The Alpha's Rose Conclusion

The War of the Royals: The Alpha's Rose Conclusion

I can tell she’s calmed down when she opens her eyes again. “When mates accept each other, there is a ritual where they claim one another. It is what we refer to as mating and marking. During sex, just before climax, you bite each other with your canines at the junction of the neck and shoulder.” She reaches up and runs her index finger lightly over the spot on my neck, giving me a shiver. My dick immediately perks up at the touch to this spot. “This injects our venom under the skin, marking your mate as yours. Afterward, you lick the bite to seal it, forever leaving your scent on your mate. It creates two scars, two half circles that don’t meet, one for each arch of wolf dentition. It is th

Until my mate comes

Until my mate comes

He was now placing passionate kisses on my neck and I felt tickles when he kissed at the spot that my marking will be some day. When you are mated to someone, you mark each other. It’s like wearing rings but for werewolves. Every wolf that sees the mark knows that you are taken. Wolves are very possessive of their mates so you don’t mess with someone’s mate unless you have a death wish.

The Alpha's Fated Omega

The Alpha's Fated Omega

“Fated mates are rare. What do you need to know?” “How does it work? I mean claiming, marking, and such.” “Well, fated mates are claimed when they are first intimate. Marking can happen whenever. You wolf and her wolf will recognize each other as fated mates. Fated mate wolves are linked together. They are each other’s haves. For example, my wolf is Hunter, and Rani’s is Arrow. Fated mates go together. That’s about all I’ve gathered. Why are you asking?”

Love And Fear Collide In Blood Moon

Love And Fear Collide In Blood Moon

Liam stroked Ericka's hair, smoothing out the tangles, and kissed her forehead again. "In werewolf life, we have pairs called mates, when the time comes. The pairs mark each other by biting each other's marking glands. The mark lasts for life, unless one of the partners intentionally breaks the bond or through death," Liam explained slowly. "It's the same as in humans, through marriage and divorce," Ericka murmured.

The Triplet Warriors and Their Pup Mate(Shadow Warrior Series)

The Triplet Warriors and Their Pup Mate(Shadow Warrior Series)

* I felt my canines forcing their way out and I turned away from Ellie. I shook my head, telling Buck to calm down, I was going to have to go out later and let him run off some steam. I was trying to be practical, but my wolf didn’t give a shit. He thought about one thing only … claiming his mate. In all fairness, most wolves mark their mate within the first week or so of meeting, there’s not usually a reason to delay. I knew for sure that if Ellie had her wolf, we would have brought River back and mated that night in the packhouse when she woke up. The pull was too strong, too demanding to be ignored.

Absolutely brilliant! I finished this book in a day and I'm devastated there isn't a sequel! It's like Game of thrones, meets True blood, meets the Witcher, but also at the same time completely in its own field and ridiculously addictive! highly recommend this book!! thank you author ❤️

Definitely my favorite books on here! I love them so much, I read them all again when Ben's book was finished. I do feel like his book was missing some things, though. I just don't feel like they actually figured out how to make things work at the end. It just kind of forced a happy ending.

Second Chance Alpha

Second Chance Alpha

I frown, thinking about how Monty has turned my life upside down. A frown covers Jason's face as his eyes move down to my neck. He jaws clench, causing his jaw muscles to slightly bulge. He looks away from my neck, taking in a breath. "Werewolves mark their mate, by biting into their neck. His scent then mixes with yours to let other males know you have a mate and has been claimed." I low animalistic growl come for him, causing the hairs on the back of my neck to rise. He stands to his feet, moving a few steps away from the couch with his back towards me like earlier.

I liked the way that thru out the book you gave little clues along the way and when you revieled that Brandon was the killer it all fit together. Part of me wanted Jason to mark Kimberly and part of me didn't, cause she had just regained her independence and found her strength. Great story ?

Straying Echo: Fighting to Escape an Obsessed Alpha

Straying Echo: Fighting to Escape an Obsessed Alpha

’ I didn’t realize I was mentally shouting until Tala flinched. ‘That may be, but many wolves mate and mark each other within a day or two of meeting. It is, and has always been, our way, the wolf’s way. It has been a week since we met Atlas. While you were unconscious for most of it, it doesn’t mean the bond stopped growing. Especially with our mates staying by our side the entire time.’ She explains.

Frequently Asked Questions

Wolves have a pretty interesting way of forming bonds with their mates. They communicate through body language, vocalizations, and even scent marking. A male often presents gifts to a female, like prey, to show affection. They mark their territory by leaving scent on trees and rocks, creating a strong connection within their pack.

It's fascinating how they establish social structures with these behaviors. This kind of bond helps strengthen their partnership, ensuring they work together during hunts and raising pups. Just thinking about this makes me appreciate their wild, yet deep, relationships more!
