The pattern was not subtle once it was laid out in a single document rather than scattered across weeks of fragments. “Dr. Ray Lionel. Medical degree, residency, the founding of Lionel Women’s Health three years prior.” A relationship history that included, according to records the investigator had traced through old university social circles, a Scarlet Celine, no surname change yet recorded, dated for approximately two years, ending the year she graduated. "How's she?" The doctor breathed sharply. "Your wife is an asthmatic patient Mr.Blade and now she's suffering from severe Chronic lower respiratory disease." A heavy silence engulfed them. Filling in each corner. Whispering and tempting a tale of its own deceit. As Alex stared at the doctor, his mind numb. Nothing made sense, nothing was as it was. Everything was twisting and and turning and all he could do was look at the doctor.

he asked me. "I don't know. I don't remember anything but my vomiting" I replied to him. I heard him sigh and we both looked at the door when the Doctor came in. "Goodafternoon Doc,"he greeted the Doctor and shook his hand. "What happened to my wife,Doc?"he asked worriedly. "You don't have to worry Mr. Jackson. What happened to your wife is normal" the Doctor said with a smile. “What do you mean, Doc?”he curiously asked the Doctor.

She flipped through the report in her hand and asked Chelsea, "Are you married?" Chelsea nodded. "Have you ever given birth?" Chelsea shook her head. The doctor frowned. After a while, she said, "Did you ever hurt your abdomen and your uterus?"

I didn't know that she has taken an interest in the medical field and dyed her hair blonde. "Victoria?" I asked, still looking at the doctor as she checks the data on the board. "Victoria, what-?"She cut me off by looking up at me with those striking blue eyes, not like that of Victoria's grey ones. "I'm sorry, but you got my name wrong, I am Cherry Woods. I'm the substitute doctor of your wife and I'm here to tell you the results seeing as Doctor Eric needs to rush off to his patient at the maternity ward." I stared down on the floor, quite embarrassed of myself for mistaking her for someone. But I swear, she -

I placed my hand on my forehead, and everything that happened flashed through my head again. “Where is Jackson?” I raised my eyes. “He left not quite long. Work call,” she responded and continued, “How do you feel now?” The door flipped open and the doctor walked in. “Good day, Ms Kylie,” he greeted, slightly bowing his head. “ Zack, what is wrong with me? Am I pregnant?” Zack has been the family Doctor; Madam Wilson trusts him so much that if not for him, no one would handle Wilson's health care.
