Romans & histoires Dog's Name In Sandlot

Jasper looks suspicious, but kisses her hand and waits to hear what she has to say. “Dad- uh, I-I mean, Mister Cirillo bought us a puppy to be friends with our wolves. His name is Mister Happy. He’s a Saint Barnyard and still in our bedroom.” Kara pouts to match Katie. Jasper suppresses a laugh at her mispronunciation. “He’ll be sad without us.”

He really had no idea that Thomas would be so stupid. “Mr. Mayo, you’re not joking, right?” Thomas scoffed. “No.” Dylan kept shaking his head. “Mr. Mayo, do you know that dog No. 1 is nicknamed ‘Invincible General’? It is currently undefeated. How is it possible for it to lose to a common dog?”

Creighton asked, scratching the dark brown shepherd behind the ears. “It’s a dog, duh,” Irena answered with a roll of her eyes. “You can’t have a farm without a dog and Amelia’s shepherd just had puppies, so I got one for you. He’s my favorite. I called him Maximilian.” “We haven’t decided on getting a dog yet and when we do, we’ll name it ourselves.” Creighton narrowed his gaze to his little sister playfully as he nuzzled the puppy’s head. “Thank you for the thought,” Sandra said, knowing that it was useless to argue with him. “He’s adorable and he’ll fit in nicely around here.”

Just like Diesel. “We can have a joint celebration now that Christina is home?” Melissa yells out, all excited. I totally forgot it was my birthday yesterday. Finding Christina took my mind off everything. Everything except her and Dylan’s reunion. “Ohhh, I can’t wait to meet your wolf, Nix. Is he big? Is he black? What’s his name?” She didn’t even let me answer one question before moving on to the next. So, I answered her last question. “Diesel, his name is Diesel.” I said, smiling at my sister.

I explain. Tyler, enamored with his uncle, suggests Apache, Chinook, and Black Hawk. He enjoys time with his uncles and their military stories, so he now knows several military words and phrases. Sky lists Remi, Buddy, or Rocky. I add Bo, Riley, and Duke. Tyler throws out Buddy, claiming that’s an elf name. Sky states we can’t have a dog named Black Hawk, and I want to exclude Rocky.

The big fellow seems to think he is the size of a tiny dog. "I think they hunt during nighttime; it would be our biggest chance of infiltrating their home. Hopefully, they are keeping Ryan prisoner at this location," I look over at Blue, who tilts his head at me. "You're sure that he is here?" The zombie dog nods at me. He seems intelligent enough to understand that barking here isn't a good idea. I think it's funny that my team members are all mutated animals. My male lizard is named Cuddles, the zombie dog is named Blue, and then I call the female lizard Lizzie.

’ ‘And howling and howling,’ Ben assured her. Kerrien was amused. She wondered how Martine had taken that. It must have quite put an end to any expectation she might have had of passionate lovemaking. It wouldn’t have mattered after all, Kerrien thought, if she had been there. Then she realized that she would probably have had the chore of sitting up with the puppy. ‘He’s a setter,’ Jodie said proudly. ‘He’s called Lloyd.’ ‘That’s an unusual name,’ Kerrien said. ‘Who thought of that?’

I pull my hand back to search, but the wolf starts back up again. "Give me a moment, alright?" I shoo him off and he plops down with his head down. "Angus, Apollo, Archie, Ash, Axel, Baxter, Bingo, Bruce, Bruno, Champ, Charlie, Chester, Chip, Coco, Dexter, Duke, Eddie, Felix, Frankie, Freddy, George, Griffin, Hunter, Kane, King, Lenny, Logan, Marty, Max, Milo, Nelson, Noah, Ollie, Oscar, Ozzy, Peanut, Pepper, Prince, Rambo, Rocco, Romeo, Sam, Scooby, Scout, Simba, Snoopy, Spencer, Spike, Spot, Tucker, Walter, Woody," I skip over the names as quickly as I can. I know for a fact I won't use common names, whether the wolf likes it or not.

“I’ve just been calling them by their colors for now. This one’s ‘Little Blackie.’ Not very creative, I know.” Scarlett giggled, stroking the puppy’s soft fur. “I think he needs a better name. What about… Shadow?” Evelyn smiled, nodding. “Shadow suits him. You’ve got a knack for naming, sweetheart.” Logan leaned in, his fingers brushing against another puppy, this one a sandy brown with white paws. “What about this one?” Evelyn chuckled. “That’s ‘Sandy,’ but I’m sure you can come up with something better.”

I was the enemy. “A halo of light around the moon,” the elder said, rubbing his chin in thought. “That’s an old name, but not many have been blessed by it. My name is Helldog.” “Because he used to run around pissing on shoes as a pup,” Asha supplied, snickering at the slipper that flew at his face. He ducked just in time, coming back up with an easy grin. “That’s no way to speak to the wolf who pulled your skinny ass out of the front gate.”
