I jumped and crossed the last hill, now I was standing on the flat ground, my warriors following me closely but all of us stopped in shocked. We identified our teen pups, who were lying on the ground, but I can see their healing process has started and small wounds are not oozing the blood anymore. However, my eyes caught few rogues lying on the ground lifeless, they have lost a lot of blood, even one’s neck was slit. My eyes raised to catch who has teared them down but seeing the wolf standing in the middle, throwing, biting and kicking rogues, the one I have never seen in my pack, hell I never knew this wolf existed.

I spent time explaining to Mateo and Adrian why I wanted to keep my beautiful wolf. I couldn’t particularly explain why I was drawn to keep her, but I did feel an instant bond with the creature. I remember that when I was a young boy, I had a dog that looked similar. Her name was Scruffy. That dog and I went everywhere and did everything together. It broke my heart when she crossed the rainbow bridge.

When Saffron opened her eyes the following day, there was a scowl on her face. She closed her eyes again, wondering if she could go back to the dream she had just awoken from, and what a dream that was. Saffy never remembered her dreams, but there was no way she was going to forget this one. It had played out like a blockbuster film starring Superheroes. Jack Goldsmith and a whopping giant-sized silver-coloured dog. Not so much Wolverine, more like the overall champion dog at Crufts dog show. It was a silly dream as Jack, and the dog seemed to merge into one. The animal was rolling around on his back on the lawn.

Dom explained. Suddenly, there was a scratch at the door and Cassandra opened it. Tobias walked in like he owned the place and sat by Grace. “Hi Tobias, how are you?” Grace said petting his head, Tobias panted in appreciation. “Is that what I think it is?” Cassandra said. “Yes, he is a Tibetan Mastiff, he is simply divine isn’t he?” Grace said. “Honey, he is not just any Tibetan Mastiff, he is a red one! They are extremely rare and expensive!” Dom explained.

She barks… But the guy cannot understand her cries… The guy starts running his fingers on her fur, and she feels a little comfort. She cannot see the face of the guy because it’s too dark to see anything. Then, the guy put her to bed, and they slept together. The guy starts talking to her… “Hi, doggie. I will now call you, “Lyke”… You know I’ve been trying to look for a rope here… I was about to kill myself because of the wrong decisions I made… See? I nod, “It did. You were very charming. My parents didn’t invite Bryan to anything unless he overheard us talking about it.” Taran shrugs, “Guess they aren’t dog people.” I shake my head, “No, we are.” He looks at me curiously, and I tell him, “Growing up, we had a dog named Sasha. She had puppies when I was about six. One of the puppies was named General. When I was twelve, General got out of the backyard because the neighbor's dog was in heat. From that litter, we got Sarge. He’s old and grumpy but very loyal. From the day we brought him home until the day I moved out, Sarge followed me everywhere. When I visit, he’s like my shadow.”

A couple of fluff balls suddenly charged right at me, barking and yapping, all the while wagging their curly little tails in the joy of seeing someone new. “Ah, sorry, should have mentioned those two,” Wulf apologised, grabbing one of the small fur demons from the floor and cupping them under his arm. “This is Kay, and that is Dan,” he introduced me to the two. I didn’t know my dog breeds, but I had to admit, they were very cute. “They’re not mine,” Wulf continued to say as he ushered the four of us in, locking the door behind him. “I’m looking after them while my cousin is away.”

Drew gets aside and and then takes a few steps back. "Big Bad Wolf." He says and whistles. That makes the wolf look at Drew. He attacks him and then Drew throws the wolf aside. Wolf's eyes meet mine and it's like he can recognise me. He bows a little and then lunges at drew. "Come on now. Use your strength. Don't bore me." Drew says and gets out of wolf's way. " Doggie doggie . Here, Catch me." Drew says and runs in the opposite direction. Wolf takes a last glance at me before following drew.

As I approach, the sand-coloured dog lay on the floor and watches me with chocolate eyes that are swirling with emotion. “Evelyn. Are you ready to learn a new animal and word? This is a wolf. His name is Alfie,” my Mama tells me, and she kneels down beside me and begins rubbing the wolf's ear. “It is Papa,” I tell her, my little voice firm. I saw my Papa change. This is my Papa. The wolf snorts and licks my face, making me squeal in delight as I wrap my arms around its big neck. “Evelyn. Are you ready for your first big girl lesson? It will only take a moment and then you can play with the wolf,” my Mama tells me.
