“Dominic! What are you doing? Stop!”
But Dominic was gone.
Something inside him had snapped. Whatever wall he’d built to hold back the fury—the pain, the guilt, the fear—it had cracked. And now the monster beneath it was free.
Two more guards charged. Dominic dropped to one knee, fired. One collapsed. The other ran.
Drazen pulled out his pistol, aiming at Dominic. “You finally woke up, brother.”
Dominic didn’t answer. He charged.
They collided hard—Dominic slammed into Drazen’s chest. The gun fell from Drazen’s hand, sliding across the deck. The two men fell, fists flying.
