The gun was empty. Dominic turned back to Adriano, a cruel smile spreading across his face. "I know a bastard like you always attacks from behind," he said. "But I'm not that easy to kill." Adriano's face contorted in pain and disappointment. He screamed, his body wracked with agony. Dominic's guards closed the door, standing outside to wait for Adriano's inevitable death. The mansion, once Adriano's stronghold, was now under Dominic's control. The sound of Adriano's screams echoed through the halls, a grim reminder of the price of crossing Dominic Lombardi.

How’s The Dominion in Japan?” “All operations are stable,” Samuel replied. “Everything you asked for has been handled.” “Good.” Then Juancho looked back at me. “Let me introduce you to the newest member of The Dominion—Steffano.” His eyes narrowed slightly. “What name do you want to fight under?” I hesitated, then shook my head. “You can choose.” He smiled. “Then we’ll call you… Beast.” The name settled heavily in my chest. I cleared my throat. “Sir… is it possible to get paid in advance? Even just half. I really need it.”

Marco gave me an apologetic look and stepped out. Silence stretched and ten minutes passed since Marco left me here waiting for him. Then the door opened again but it wasn't Marco. The man from the night before walked in. Same dark shirt. Same controlled presence. I didn't need an introduction. His name was on every floor of the building: Axel Valenti. Founder and CEO of Aurelian Group. He entered calmly and took the seat that had belonged to Marco moments earlier. "Where's Marco?" I asked before I could stop myself.

"I can handle anything you bring at me Mr GreenEyes!" That only angers him more. "I don't think so. Even with a broken arm, I'm one of the strongest men in our team!" I know this tactic. He's trying to distract me from the task at hand, so he can defeat me. "Oh? What team?" I ask sarcastically. Smirking, thinking he's managed it, he continues. "We are a Dom company. We collect dominants and train them, and find them submissive souls to use and abuse. We know what you do, and one of our clients wants you, and only you."

“The signal vanished, but not before he bounced it through four different spoofed servers. He’s smarter than we thought.” Dominique leaned against the wall, pressing her fingers to her temple. “Then I need to be smarter.” “We will be. We’re not alone.” “That’s what scares me,” she murmured. “I’m not used to help.” “You’re used to worship,” he said flatly. She smiled, bitter. “Close enough.” “Domica doesn’t need worship,” Damien said after a pause. “She needs a witness. And I’m here for that.” The line went quiet.

“Fuck man, so soon? Isn’t he still new?” “Yeah, he is. Except he’s fucking perfect for the team. So because of that, I’m fucking done auditioning for the spot. Now I just got to make him bleed and see what he has to offer me in return.” Shaking his head does everyone know about Valon. Valon currently one of my newest recruits. And while Valon was only 18 much like many that we recruit if not younger, he was also one of the best damn shooters we had. With his crazy, sadistic personality he was the perfect fit for my Omega squad and even a better fit too since he and Dominic seemed to be getting pretty close to.

Yuri locked his beefy fingers together on his chest. "For now," Dominic said. "Yes, for Now." Yuri echoed. It was no secret that should the family ever lose their wealth and power, they would lose their standing. Their enemies would close in on them, but for now, they ruled the underworld. Dominic opened the top drawer on the desk, seemingly looking for something. He pulled out a pen and a writing pad. "Yuri?" Dominic cleared his throat. "Yes Sir," Yuri answered exuberantly, ready to serve. "After the funeral is over, I want to take a wife."

“So you’re going to kill me. Is that it? And then what? You think anyone is going to agree to be led by you?” “They will have no choice! Look,” she said, motioning towards the dead bodies around us. “We were attacked. You ran to save me. You got shot. You’re dead. Dominic takes the reins. He is the second in command, the only Romano left. Hence..... Hence. No one will question anything. Dominic is going to swear that he’s going to take revenge for you. And then, ta-da! Game is over.” “Dominic,” I said, turning my attention towards him. “Are you in on this with her?”

It was the twins. They were in a room, embracing each other and trembling. Elena looked petrified and Lorenzo kept his arms around her. I had brought this on them. My heart turned inside out. “Do you want more or do I send an order for them to be taken out?” Domino asked. “You betrayed me,” I said coldly. Domino took another step forward and smiled. “The thing is I never worked for you. I was always with her,” he said. “Drop the gun,” he ordered again.
