"Would you pretty please?" I smile and stare up at him. There is nothing sexier than a man who knows how to speak another language. "Te voy a echar de menos cuando todo esto termine." (I'm going to miss you when all of this is finished.) "I know that's Spanish but that's where my advanced knowledge stops. What did you say?" "Things." "Sure. I'm going to memorise that and if and when I learn Spanish one day, I will reply to your comment."

* (Son of a bitch, I’m going to fuck your girl in the asshole, you can kill me, you queer. Even though my Spanish is a bit rusty, I answered him in his own idiom, surprising him: “Dime dónde Samantha es, o rasgar la garganta tan lentamente que va a rogar a morir.”* (Tell me where Samantha is, or I’ll tear your throat so slowly that you’ll beg to die.)

he said seductively. I shook my head a little too hard, "no. No. I am glad you didn’t." "I am sorry for hanging up like that. Necesitaba pensar." Pensar. Is that think? Goddess, I needed to learn Spanish if I was going to continue talking to Diego. "It’s okay," I lied. "Is it?" Diego asked, looking at me. I sighed, "fine. I cried, okay. I was scared you wouldn’t call me anymore, and I look forward to our calls. It makes me happy when I talk to you."

Zoëlla explained. "Wow," Alejandro said lost for words. "I don't know what happened or don't want to force it out of you but just remember that one day they'd realise El karma es una perra (Karma is a bitch) ," Alejandro assured her. Thanks, Ale, you've been a good friend...unlike before." She murmured the last part. "Sorry, I didn't get the last part well." He said asking for repetition. "That's good anyways." She smiled. "Oh, no you've gotta repeat it." He added tickling her as she giggled into the night.

His embrace tightens but it wasn't hurting me. "I'll miss you." He says to my ear. I smile. "Te echaré de menos." I answered him. He spins me around and asks, "What was that you just said?" I chuckle. "I said I'll miss you." He kisses my forehead. "Then, te echaré de mentos." I laugh against his chest. "It's menos." He laughs at himself. "I'm sorry." I look up at him and smiled. "You need to learn some Spanish, Gage Stockholm."

He said and I smirked. "Por supuesto que estoy bromeando ( ofcourse, I'm kidding)" I said back to him in Spanish. "Por que actuaste como si no entendieras? ( Why did you act like you don't understand)" he asked in Spanish. "No queria molestias.( I didn't want any disturbance.)" I said with a shrug. "Me dejaran en paz si ven que no los entiendo ( they'll leave me alone if they see I don't understand them)" I said quietly.

Exhausting. I collapsed onto the bed, ready to steal five minutes of rest before the chaos began again. Then my phone rang. I groaned, reaching for it with eyes half-shut. Caller ID: Rolin. And just like that—I was wide awake. Spanish terms and meanings Si las desperdicias te golpearé.- if you waste them I’ll beat you. Caldo gallego- à soup

“Did you just laugh at me?” He clears his throat, straightening his papers as though to regain control of the universe. “No.” “You did. I heard it!” “I did no such thing.” “You’re not as intimidating as you think you are,” I tease, leaning back smugly in my chair. He looks up at me again, and for a minute, his gaze seems sharper than before—like he’s evaluating my words, or maybe me. “Don’t tease me, Alina.” “Tease”, is this word used like that?

As for Yenny, she was anxiously waiting for what would happen to her best friend. "But you didn’t need to make me upset at class," Clarissa snapped. Diaz smiled. He looked at Clarissa, then turned to Adimasta who was already by his lover's side. "Brother, I'm sorry, really. I promise it won't happen again." Adimasta tried to ease Clarissa's tension. "I'm happy to see you both harmonious, intimate, romantic." Diaz's smile widened again. "What?" Clarissa frowned until the ends of her eyebrows were almost together. This lecturer was really weird. What did he mean by that?
