Paving the way were men in black suits and shades. Armed soldiers in uniform trailed behind them. And there was Alpha Adonis, behind the soldiers. Maneuvering the car into a corner as my body moved sideways from the aggressive driving. "Where is Donovan?" I asked the strange guy. He was bald, wore an all black outfit and had a snake tattoo at the nape of his neck. "Him and I take Shift." His voice echoed, coming out with an Italian accent. Now my intuition was high. "Hello? Vanessa, are you there?" Daniel asked me. I completely forgot about him. I unmuted the call. "Yeah I am, just hold on a sec." I responded by trying to call Donovan on the side. His phone wasn't going through. I decided to call Edward. It kept taking me to voicemail.

“You—you are Don Dante Romano?!” “In the flesh.” I knew him. I definitely knew him. Hell, any Italian person who has the barest connection with the underground world would know him. The sleek black car stopped in front of the famous VIP club bar in the city. As the driver got out, Denovon stepped down, fixing the buttons on his shirt and adjusting his sleeves. His face was cold and serious—as usual. "Drive the car back," he said to the driver. "Yes, sir," the man replied with a nod before driving off. Denovon headed inside with heavy steps. Every step was confident, sharp, and full of purpose. Anyone who saw him would think he was walking into a battlefield, not a bar.

I believe in him. “Please tell me you got drunk at a bar, and the father is a stranger.” “No, my hoe days passed in college,” I tell him. “Unfortunate...so it’s definitely Xoi, he’s going to be in our lives forever?” he sounds pretty hopeless. “Oni Chan, I need your support.” He sighs. “Okay, fine, I’ll support you; I haven’t killed him in two years; what’s sixty-five more?” he says. I laugh.

I have finally had enough of these assholes in this hell hole labeled as a hospital. 'No! You will go nowhere till you give me the answer to the question I asked you' He tells me and at this moment, he is now sounding so stupid. Okay now, I am beginning to doubt if compared to Jack, Mr. Black is still the World's most famous pervert. Even though I know Jack is a very weird and annoying guy, I never thought him to be this creepy. 'Sweetie, it will do you good to tell me now or I will have to force you to....' like seriously?

Black stated dangerously – causing her to look at him with her eyes wide. “H-How… H-How…” She was confused – that she couldn’t even complete the sentence that she wanted to ask them. She licked her lower lip – as if she could find the right words. But Mr. Black continued his words – when he realized what she wanted to ask her. “Donovan… He is a former member of a nearby pack, Leila.” Mr. Black finally revealed. Her breathing hitched – as she took a gasp. Too much information was clouding her mind.
