The school day was almost over. Dora, Bella, and Zoe were in the practice hall. Halloween was two days away so they had been practicing but Bella has been feeling nervous and freaking out. She kept saying people were going to hate her for ruining their Halloween dance. Zoe sighed. She could notice Alex in the practice hall laughing and messing around with his friends. "There is still time for you to figure out everything, you just need some inspiration," Zoe said, trying to ease her panic. She was still watching Alex and his friends! they had basically started dumping their water bottles on each other while they used their powers.

Hazel ran toward them carrying her drawing. "Want to see it?" "Of course." The little girl handed him the paper. Dante accepted it carefully. Then froze. Because the drawing showed four people. Meredith sighed and followed them reluctantly. Halloween celebrations were in full bloom in Connecticut. Houses were decorated with assortment of decorations. Children in colourful costumes, supervised by adults had started coming out of the houses. The three girls watched as a group of teenagers, all of them clad in Halloween costumes emerged from a link-road. They were laughing and chatting about going to a party. One of the girls who was in a witch costume smiled at the three of them.

“Then you better watch out, Red Riding Hood. I’m coming for you.” Mama clapped her hands, Papa laughed, and for a moment, the room was nothing but warmth and family. Halloween wasn’t just about candy tonight. It was about belonging — about showing Koda that he had roots, traditions, and a family who would always dress up, laugh, and howl right alongside him.
