Doom Slayer Warhammer 40k Novels & Stories

I came home with a lump in my throat and a weight of guilt pressing on my shoulders. I didn't want to step into Axel's life, didn't want to become his mistress, and yet part of me craved that thrill—the one only he could give me. I longed for a normal life, a real marriage, love, passion… and at the same time, I knew I could never have both. Every time I thought about it, a voice inside me screamed: Liar!

Marcus (DragonSlayer99) bellowed over the comms, the sound of digital steel clashing against holy fire ringing out. The Grand Nave was a massive, vaulted hall filled with floating pews and rivers of liquid gold. But they weren't fighting Praetorians here. The Admin had deployed the Dominions—four-armed, faceless angelic knights clad in blinding white armor, wielding dual greatswords that burned with deletion code. Brog, the Awakened Blacksmith, swung his heavy hammer, shattering the kneecap of a Dominion, only for the angel to retaliate with a sweeping strike that sent the massive NPC flying across the hall.

Deep inside, there was only emptiness. Why were Mommy and Daddy sad? Wasn't this what they wanted? They didn't have to worry about me anymore. They could have another child and live a happy life without fearing a cursed soul like me would ruin everything. Out of the blue, Mommy began pounding the coffin in a frenzy. Her hands were cut open by the nails, blood oozing in shocking streaks. "I didn't know. I swear I didn't know… Oh, Adam, my boy!"

the dragon snapped, “You don’t. You outlast it. Try to channel, and you’ll crack your own skull. Hold the power, guide it, let it burn itself out through you.” Easy, Zayla thought, and almost laughed. The light outside the sanctuary reached critical mass; the stained-glass window overwhelmed inward, showering them all with diamond-tipped snow. Through the blizzard, Zayla saw the prophecy in living color: two armies marching toward the sanctuary, one boiling up the valley in banners of black and flame, the other pouring from the city in a tide of blue and silver. In between-strung between, pain like a wire waiting to spark—stood Zander, the Slayer General, not dead after all, his body restore

Maybe it was the bond that’s making him crave the warlord. “You can’t be unbounded,” Drater said. His beard was as white as snow, and his eyes were blue. He was blind, and still he looked straight at Erriene as if he could sense his soul. “You used an ancient bond and it worked perfectly. That wouldn't happen if it was not supposed to.” “You don’t want to do it,” Erriene said. “You CAN. You just don’t WANT to.” Drater’s face turned sympathetic, and he turned to Freena. She was the youngest one, and a pure elf, so she did not look more than forty years old despite being twenty years older than that.

The warlock’s blade cut through the cave floor as if it was made of butter, narrowly missing Sir Claude. Sir Claude gritted his teeth, “Wolf Slayer…” he snarled. I gasped, that warlock, that was the one that everyone referred to as the Wolf Slayer, so that was who I saw Damon with. “I was hoping I would run into Stephan, not his lackeys,” his scary bass voice resonated. “It’s alpha Stephan to you, vermin!” Claude spat viciously. The Wolf Slayer shook with laughter. My attention shifted back to the Supreme Mother, she was closer to me now.

" Kaelen raised the Sun-Shatterer to the heavens. The five floating battle-cruisers of the Eastern Armada anchored in orbit suddenly beamed five concentrated pillars of crimson stellar energy directly into Kaelen's broadsword. The ancient warlord’s body swelled, his red dragon-scales glowing white-hot as he gathered five centuries of accumulated orbital fire into a single, absolute strike. "Die with your surface realm!" Kaelen bellowed, descending from the sky like a falling star, bringing his sword down in an apocalyptic overhead execution strike. "Celestial Dragon-Slayer: World Breaker!" A pillar of red plasma, three hundred feet wide, tore through the atmosphere, aimed directly at Dominic

Leading the charge was a hulking Vanguard General carrying a dark-silver warhammer that hummed with anti-mana energy. "Kill the villains!" roared the General, his voice booming out of his iron helmet. The Primarch offers ten thousand gold pieces for the head of the Sun Queen! In an instant the courtyard turned into a bloody chaotic battlefield. Claws met black silver, shadow magic battled anti-mana fields, and the desperate roars of shifters bounced off the high granite walls.

Even though they get something in return, there always remained a huge possibility of us losing and everything going to ashes. We stood directly near the raised steps and bowed to her in respect. She acknowledged our greetings with a simple nod and raised up from her seat. "The day before, as you all elf people are aware, a werewolf female, Seraphina approached our Kingdom to seek alliance for an upcoming war that she claims is going to broke." She addressed to her people, demanding their attention for what she was going to announce.

"Battle raged on across the continent, until finally, Markelus faced off with Eon. He drove his sword to the tyrant's heart, and killed him. Henceforth he became known as the Godslayer, and his weapon, the-" "Sword of the Godslayer." Minos swung his arms sidewards, like a musician that just delivered a heartwarming ballad. "So you're not really after my father, you're after the sword." "Yes." "You could have just said that." "Where's the fun in that?" "The only one who had fun in this room was you." Cassana glanced at Rei, who gave her an affirmative nod. "I hope you're not planning to be a bard, because you are terrible at it."
