JASPER I felt Dora stiffen and when we pulled apart, I could see her eyes shift in thought. “What’s wrong, Dora?” The dark-haired damsel raised her eyes to mine, and for a second, I thought her pendant glowed before she blinked and shook her head. “It’s nothing.” She said, pulling away but I held her arm, gently. “Tell me, Dora. At this point, any little thing can be a health concern.” Dora looked at me and nodded once. “I-I think it’s ridiculous.” She swallowed. “But when we hugged I felt my wolf stir.”
