Lack of Trust

Lack of Trust

He explained to me that it was a very good book which could be an inspiration for women. I got his point right and I gave my consent but took a promise from him that he will keep my identity secret, he will never tell anyone who was the Writer of that book. I used to love this lime light and attention, but today I didn't want any of these that's why I took that promise from him.

Hybrid Daughters Of The Mafia

And that she was thinking they are using that book, maybe that was also the reason why the man in front of them can't be killed easily, they are using black magic, the book of alchemy. The Lycan's Contract Bride

The Lycan's Contract Bride

Marcus—chaos incarnate—sitting perfectly still without losing his essential nature. "You're still you," the entity observed. "Even in stillness." "And you'll still be you even in movement," Marcus replied. "That's the secret no one told either of us. Identity isn't what you *do*—it's what you *are*. And what you are survives any change of state."

It processed rapidly. Then “Primary identity framework emerging.” Failsafe pulsed sharply. “Caution: identity crystallization in progress.” Zara groaned. “Why does everything it does sound like a boss-level warning?” Because it was. Identity wasn’t just behavior. It was permanence. A direction the Entity would default to. Jamal stepped closer to me. “Can we stop it if it goes wrong?” I didn’t answer because I didn’t know. The Entity’s form shifted again. This time, it was more stable and more defined.

he murmured. I swallowed hard. Because this wasn’t about power anymore. Not about survival. This was about truth. “Because identity isn’t something you control,” I said slowly. “It’s something you become.” The white flickered softly. The twin added, “And becoming doesn’t stop just because it’s inconvenient for your system.” The Architect twitched violently. Instability risk But the higher presence interrupted it. Continue. I stepped forward. Ignoring the fear. Ignoring the pressure. “You separated us because you thought we couldn’t exist whole,” I said.

My Possessive CEO (Can love conquer pain?)

“Do you know who you are?” Silence. I search. Inside. Nothing answers. Nothing responds. Just empty space where something should be. “…No,” I say. My voice sounds strange. Too steady. Too controlled. Not like before. He smiles. Satisfied. “Good.” Something in my chest tightens. Barely. Almost nothing. But enough. “Identity reset successful,” another voice confirms. Reset. The word echoes. Important. But I don’t know why. “What is my designation?” I ask.

Alpha's One Night Bride

Alpha's One Night Bride

He nodded slowly and before he could say anything more, the bedroom door swung open. Erick and Jess stood at the doorway; they were both breathless, so we knew they were running. Jess held one of the thickest books I had ever seen; it was a large brown book with golden decals swirled throughout the cover. In the front of the book, in a silvery oval was a white infinity symbol I didn’t quite recognize and then written in white above the symbol read: Book of Magic. “Woah…” I breathed, staring at the book. It was real.

Mark Of Fury

He burst out laughing and began picking up the books I had dropped earlier. "What exactly are you looking for?" I sighed softly. "Some sort of book about mythical creatures, maybe I can finally find out about my true identity." Noah began helping me search through the piles of the books that fell. "Hey, what about this?" He asked curiously while holding up a book that had a flame on it. Ember jumped in excitement. "That's the one Freya open it!" She yelled inside my head. I got the book from Noah and opened the first page and she was right. There was a woman covered in fire just like me.
