A shadow moved behind her, slow and deliberate. The witches stepped aside.
Draco emerged from the trees.
He was tall, wrapped in a dark trench coat and hooded mask. His aura bled corruption into the air, it made the forest itself recoil. Even the river below went silent.
“You should have listened when I warned you, Silas,” Draco said, voice smooth as poison. “You can’t win this war. Hand over Aurelia, and I’ll make your death quick.”
