CHASING HIS LUNA BACK
Draco meant to break him slowly, enjoy the scream.
I shifted so fast that I didn’t even feel my bones break. One moment I was flesh; the next I was Lilith white fur gleaming like frost, every strand crackling with magic. The earth trembled beneath my paws. I launched forward, claws scraping through air, and struck Draco with enough force to send him crashing back.
He rolled, unfazed, but surprised. The first crack in his composure showed.
When I landed, Elen appeared at my flank, panting, her hands glowing green. “He’s draining Damien!” she shouted. “He’s not attacking, he’s leeching him!”
