The Lycan King's Werewolf Daughter
I turn my gaze to the front as well, but part of me feels lighter, like maybe today will not be so hard after all.
The moment the professor announces the day’s topic, my stomach tightens. I grip my pen a little harder than necessary, forcing my face to stay neutral while he paces to the front of the hall.
“Today,” he begins, voice carrying easily over the room, “we turn our focus to the end of the war between Lycans and werewolves. The decisive battle. The fall of Alpha Samuel, the self proclaimed king.”
The name alone sends a ripple of tension through the students. Some straighten in their seats, others lean forward with anticipation, hungry for the story they have heard only in fragments.
